Is there any way that we can mediate the constant pings? I love the game & want to stay updated, but i don’t necessarily want to be pinged nearly every day about merch or whatever various technically unnecessary topics?
Could we maybe get a role specifically for content only updates, that people can opt into? Or vice versa, a role specifically for those who care about buying merch, and then leave the @ everyone ping for solely content updates?

Bumping this up because I fully agree with this. I want the patch updates, but I'm about one more merch ping away from leaving the server, and it's soured my taste for the merch as a whole. There are plenty of games I've bought plushies and posters for, but the aggressive shoving it down my throat and pings that can't be opted out of because they're the same as content pings are just... It's not a good look.
