Hello there fellow followers! I came to show a small little au I made. It's ALMOST the same as cult of the lamb but the main focus isn't on Lambert and their cult, but Instead a Rouge named Pebble.
#Cult of the Lamb au: Rouge Illusions

Pebble did die in a old faith attack, but the one who waits brought them back as a trick on the old faith. To trick them into thinking he had his lamb vessel already while in actuality he is still selecting his real vessel.
Pebble was given some sort of power of illusion. Their job is to not only trick the old faith but also pick off some of it's followers behind the scenes to make it weaker. Unlike Lambert who has the red crown and goes on crusades, Pebble has to use disguises to sneak up to targets and assassinate them.

Pebble was told to make a cult too. The one who waits probably thought if there was 2 cults in his name it would be twice the influence.

How to get followers in Rouge Illusions is
1.if Pebble has enough bones they can brainwash enemies into becoming a follower
2.sometimes targets will beg for mercy, and Pebble has the option to take them in as a follower or kill them

When it comes to the doctrines all of them are the same for Pebble
all of them EXCEPT the wedding doctrine, I will make this very clear right now so there is no misunderstanding it. Pebble CANNOT get married.
Hence why the Wedding Doctrine is replaced with a new Doctrine.
The Appoint Doctrine
[Ritual] Perform a Ritual at your temple where you pick a follower and appoint them to be your right hand follower

I should probably mention this now, how this au starts is right before cotl starts there was a group of lambs migrating trying to avoid the old faith, Lambert was there holding the hand of Pebble revealing the two are parent and child. Old faith members came out of nowhere and attacked. Some of the lambs were slain and others were taken for execution. But a old dead, rotting tree broke and fell on Pebble. Hench how they met the one who waits to begin with.

Lambert is the only parent as the other one left a long time ago. Probably dead after all that happened with the old faith either way.
