Although the boss fights are fun and decently challenging, it doesn’t go much beyond “dodge and hit the thing.” What I suggest is to add more gimmicks to the boss fights. Some examples can include: “This boss is resistant to melee attacks and takes extra damage from curses,” “this boss has a weak point in this one specific area of its body,” “you must use the environment to damage the boss,” etc. I think things like these would add more challenge to the game. The weakness of the boss should also be hinted at in some way or another. Through dialogue, the surroundings, or straight up trial and error. However, I don’t think the boss fights should be so gimmicky that the fights are tedious and annoying. Just something simple that makes the fight memorable. Also, the gimmicks shouldn’t be so intense that a specific weapon and curse combination can’t defeat it at all.
