#Is it legal to assign keybinds in bluestacks?

Yesterday I started to set up a control scheme for the game. However, BlueStacks wouldn't recognize my PS5 controller inputs. So I decided to launch the emulator through steam. That way I could assign keyboard inputs to the controller buttons.

Then I got to thinking. Asked the tt2 discord if assigning BlueStacks keyboards was fine. They said 1 input for 1 output. Through steam input you are able to create an order.

For example the first time I press X it presses 1 on the keyboard. The second time, it presses 2 and so on.

With this technique you can semi automate. It's not a macro because it's a 1 to 1. One button press is one tap.

Even without steam input you can just press 1,2,3,4,etc on your keyboard.

It's not clear where the line is drawn in the terms of service.

result is every X press it moves to the next action set

#

you can assign these in bluestacks. remember each number/ letter is 1 keyboard input to 1 tap on that location

#

This setup will buy skills and activate them in the assigned order. 28 circle things. you have to press X 28 times to complete the setup

This setup seems borderline illegal

#

Setting binds to different keys and pressing them is probably fine, but having them switch to bind to the same key after every press seems closer to some kind of script or macro

if you’re manually pressing x for each action i don’t think it necessarily matters

#

but tbh doing this in a game that doesn’t reward playtime very much is pointless

watch a movie and press X a few times every 5 mins. it makes multitasking a lot more efficient

as long as you’re present and have to manually prestige i think that’s fine, i believe that is the main concern with macroing

It would give an advantage in certain situations like prestiging after ATs or some other cases

#

I guess it's up to GH to determine whether it's illegal or not though

for main game there’s almost no advantage to it because prestiging over and over again isn’t rewarded other than relic boosters but.. that still requires thousands of prestiges

It would be an advantage in transcendence arguably where you need thousands of prestiges for a new monument, but hes not in trans doge

Just to confirm. The official stance is that keybinds are fine as long as one key press = one tap. If you are doing several taps with one key press, that's where you're using a macro that would be against the Terms of Service and could lead to an account ban. https://gamehive.com/tos/
