When is the best time to join tournaments? As soon as possible, in the middle, or closer to the end?

it actually does not really matter. Yeah at the end might get you solo tourney, but you can get one anytime. Also joining last moment can get you miss the tournament depending on your connection if you do have a mini lag. So anytime during the day, when you can play the most is the way to go
