The pass is separated into 2 Passes, Free and Premium
Back then we only had the same Monster for both passes (ie Gualgui, Grakon, Ursus, and Rekka)
Now we have two mons, one for the premium and one for the free
Premium Mon is obtained up to R3 as you progress in the pass
Free Mon is obtained through the same way just unranked
Premium Pass does not override the rewards of the Free Pass but rather adds on to it @half tendon

Skins are useless in value, but I wouldn't say they aren't a good reward. I just think they should be given by different means.
So far, they either were distributed to those who purchase the golden pass or to those who would put up in-game money for them (and it was a time-limited offer, that one).
They could easily give certain skins as a reward in time-limited dungeons and make a weekly dungeon with skins for weaker monsters that are easier to get.

Meanwhile Tayni would get DEMOLISHED if on her own, so clearly she's inferior, and there are better PER/NER monsters out there

If you're using him as an attacker, he's worse than Arumel, Cyberiel and the upcoming Quaxalcroc.
If you're using him as a tank, Unspeakable, Kawthor and specially R3 Erder are much better than it for having better skills suited for tanking.
Armor is just on a grey area of not being good enough for neither of the roles he seems to be good at.

@fiery osprey there are two variations of the paid pass. one that autounlocks / skips the first 30 nodes. and then there is the basic premium pass that you unlock all the nodes via the challenges. if you buy either one of those you can skip the nodes with gems.
