so while this is all news to us , and maybe a bit surprising , I can say I am personally not surprised with this. This was a NEW CONSUMABLE item that was added strictly ( at least for the time being ) to the gold legends pass. Meaning the only way to obtain these items was to purchase the gold legends pass. This wasn't like it was a rune that can be obtained other ways. So therefore could be seen as another " perk " of the pass. So I can see why they would have some sort of use by / expiration date as there is no other way to currently obtain them unlike with runes or other rewards in the pass.

Runes from dungeons and different events , gems from purchasing, dungeons, fever or spurt events, as well as mw tasks. war coins from wars etc. Given the maze tickets are only currently obtainable from purchasing the pass makes sense in a way that it would be another " perk " , our food , gold and extra hatchery slot goes away when the pass season ends we technically earn those when we buy the pass. The rewards for LP were finished half way through the month. I had bought the Premium and this was a rip off. There were still some challenges which I finished but no further rewards. A huge rip-off.

sadly you won't be able to utilize it to its fullest if you buy the pass now. technically... you may still be able to complete it if you sped up breeds and some of the other challenges needed such as the extraction of a legendary monster and crafting of a epic but yes for future reference the legends pass lasts a season which there is a countdown of how much time is left and its best to buy the legends pass at the beginning of the season due to double the gold , double the good boosts as well as a extra worker and hatchery slot 🙂

when buying the pass its best to get the pass as early as you can at the start of the new season. reasons being as you have more time to complete the challenges as well as can utilize the full perks of the pass. double the food / double the gold. an extra worker an extra hatchery slot.
