If you end up with the exact same denial monsters and they have the same speed then it's so unfair if opponents goes first or if yours goes first that usually determines the battle unless someone does a blunder. So even if same speed need luck good job social way to make live duels fun and fair

So I was doing a little testing

If you have a denial monster along with any support monster that is on team speed rune even if you and opponent have same denial monster yours will therefore go first

If you set up your team try putting denial on full speed while one of two other monster at the least have a team speed rune on one of them. Do not let your damage dealer be the one with team speed rune on it though. And if your other monster is a tank then it's worth a shot but not guaranteed you the win. If it's also denial then whichever one is slower will have the team speed rune that way your faster denial has even more speed guaranteed and can go first

Devastress has very powerful skills, but ugluk has immune to control and is very good at killing tanks

But with devastress you don't have to kill tanks because of pierce

No clue what Frazerot does

Useful until your enemy has a Yedra

Ursus has Pierce and a self Evasion + Double Damage move

And Makugan isn't really that good

So if you want a secondary attacker, go for Ursus

Or if you want a semi-denier, so for Gualgui

CDA isn't counted as a 'control' status effect
