Unfortunately the loudest voice is often the one that disagrees with the current situation, so the loudest one probably made warmups seem bad. But they’re back now which is great 😄

I tried making a tier list for what monsters to select in grand duels based on my own experience, hope it can help any newer players to choose the right team (this list is for all speed/6 team speed rune builds)
Also you can skip 2nd tier and get monsters from 3rd tier if you already have 1 or 2 monsters from 1st tier
(These monsters are arranged from highly recommended to least recommended from left to right in their respective tiers)

It is very much blind staring on the deniers, who really are not that dominating as long as there are warm ups play.
Makugan, Hookuai, Helgudin, Qinling, Krugbo, Neobuki, Nitroblaster, Draghar are all top picks on my list. Wasper and Lady Solaris close as well.
I very rarely pick any of the monsters in your second selection.
I agree about the monsters not to chose though. Zyla can be useful for her trait, but only if warm ups are removed.

I won 5 matches and lost one. The last match though, I completely destroyed the opposing team but they disconnected and I lost from that. It isn't fair on the people that do the live duel only to have that happen to them.

@jagged umbra Most GD monsters are good, depending who they are paired with. Personal favourites are Neobuki, Hookuai, Draghant, O'Reilly and Nitroblaster, because they can work well no matter in what team they are.

@worn jewel its happening to me too, but when i try to use my classic duel/ grand duel tickets i cant. It says i have to refresh the game and its really annoying. I basically have them for no reason at this point.

I have same issue , my Sammy Plague Carrier is useless, only has basic moves even though skills show changed on skills screen

Yes. It shows changed but when I enter fight they are reverted. Other monster ate fine, Cain and Elvira. Only affecting Sammy
This is like old issue with grand duals where you could change skills, but when enter fight reverted to basic zkills.
Used to be if you exited game and reentered the skills would change. But at the cost I dont want to try and lose 20 gems

Me and multiple others have managed to change moves with no problem, just had to make sure I was changing the right set

To change moves you need to leave the whole duel section. Go find the monster in its habitat, tap the skills tab, choose the tournament option under it, and change those moves

And the second use 3 speed on o'reilly 1 team speed 2 strength on wyrmlad and 1 team speed and 2 life on koralle
