This event is a joke. They "fixed" it so lower level players don't get 3 rounds anymore. Erm, nope. you can see..... low level player..... Carlo Canbino has no star.... I am not sure, but from level 50 or above to level 100 you will get 1 star, from level 100 to 150 you will get 2 stars.
It is easier to get the monsters when you are low level player.
My son at level 85 got Carlo Canbino with one star by investing 300Mio of gold transferred in food (5Mio) with 100% boost. = 34.000coins. he had the luck the he got both monsters with the last card.
My other son at level 101 got nothing. He tried Carlo Canbino but had not enough coins to flip the last card. he invested 1,5Billion gold in food (also 5Mio with 100% boost) and got 19,980coins.
And I (level 150) got Bonie Bark because I had 11,300coins by investing 2,5billion Gold into food (5mio and 100% boost).

this is an absolutely low level event. For players with higher level than 100 it is only possible to get Gangsterosaurus or Bonie Bark. When you level comes closer to 150 it will be much more dificult to get Gansterosaurus, than you have only the chance to get Bonie Bark.
My values are results without GEMs and PVP, but with 2,000coins from Monsterwood.
Nobody at higher levels is thinking about a second lap. 😂😂😂

It IS possible to get the 2 star monster (I got Bella Baal last time, I'm lvl 104 right now), but you need to use almost everything you got and go for that monster alone 😄

I only got Bonnie this time, but I'm happy (a little bit), because she was the best monster in this event. I did not count the coins I got, but it was around 16k (and I couldn't be there all the time, we had guests for 2 days, so with constant attention I could've gotten more). But it's a little bit interesting, that every time in these last 72 hour challenges, I only got the monster on the last card. 😠

72h Challenge had some controversies in the past few months. As you could notice we are still trying to tweak it and make it as fair as possible to the majority of players. This also means trying new approaches.

With that said, we would like to introduce you to Multiplayer Mode 72h Challenge!

If it's purely on basis of PVP (which seems unlikely) then it's for those who can actually proceed and win PVPs...maybe use gems to spam the attacks...Wish the picture is more lucid....

This game is starting to lose grip. Between the nerfs of meta characters, constantly pushing for money, raising the gem cost of everything, the super short ridiculous breeding events, and now they hype up events and then call* them off day of. Starting to understand why everyone is leaving this game

It's an overall feeling about the game, with these little things amounting to an entirely broken game. Well the opponents in MP are always higher ranked than I am, so my odds of winning are thus lower.
Every now and then I’ll win 2 out of 3, but at best it’s usually 1 of 3. I do the daily tasks so I fight Mp everyday, and so I know my winning % overall is not higher than 35%

@vernal forum the funny thing is if I stop attacking in MP, my ranking goes up, lol. I win more by not fighting.

Here’s how I look at these events. At a minimum, you get a bunch of stuff for free if you participate. That’s a good thing. It’s not always worth it to spend gems to complete. Sometimes it is. So...play accordingly. The Gretchen cells may be the best prize if you’re trying to complete the book. A ranked Meurte is still very dangerous even if he’s not the best monster. 🤷‍♂️ try to have fun with the pvp. Enjoy the free stuff. And if you get monster for free congrats.

Yeah. I don’t think it’s supposed to be easy. Best strategy is probably commons on defense so you keep trophies low enough where you can keep winning. Then climb up ranks last few days of season. Maybe we’ll get pvp tokens in monsterwood or something

Question about PvP battle timing to get the 400 coins upon winning the battle (I read above messages but can't see this defined):

Is it every 1h, 2h, or 3h that we can fight and get the 400 coins?

You get stamina every 2 hours. However you can fight as often as you like and you'll get 400 coins for every win. For example, I did 11 fights in a row earlier and got coins for each of them

i think this is actually is a good change if they make future 72h challenges high level player gaining 400 to 500 coins from battles and low levels winning 50 - 100 coins since low levels can easily get coins from food cause it gives a lot more points even with the new system they can still get through and maybe complete a round but high levels still struggle to complete a round like LV 90 up is rough lv 60 down is easy

like below lv 50 - 50 coins

lv 60 - 70 - - - 80 coins

lv 80 - 100 coins

lv90 - 200 coins

lv 100 - 110 - 400 coins

over 110 - 500 coins

i think the formule would be thinking on the rating that you have.. thats the only logic choice , i think they don't want to take hard work for that, thats the reazon for make a constant (and easy way for they) to gain coins, but that will broke the pvp now its happen, all defending with comun monster, its a pity

i think this event will be really criticized, the result of this will be catastrofic

an event who the only way to get coins its wining pvp helping/forcing you to destroy all what you have get until today sufering winning a few times getting 11 troffies and losing 42

if at least winning with high rating would give us more coins than win in bronce league but no, still like always a level 30 team in low leagues will get more coins

You keep mentioning that as a solution, but that's terrible design. It ends up making pvp even more toxic for lower rank players and it removes the incentive to participate in pvp outside of 72HC.

Hmm i think Multiplayer mode 72h is way way better than normal 72h. Already got muerte with only 15 gems spent. I won all pvp and NO i didn't droped my trophies to 2k. Revanges are easy to win. I read here that this 72h was going to be Multiplayer so i saved my revanges and two bonus attacks and that was it for me. I know everyone won't get that lucky like i did but theres 2 1/2 days.

around 3800 trophies

thats the most i can get

and i won 6 battles got 2,4 k coins and i got lucky i got muerte in 5th turn

but last challenge i got nothing

over 10 cards still no monster and i got no more coins cause of new system~

if pvp gave more maybe i could get him

since im lv 99 and its impossible to get 20 k with food and gold only 2 collections of food give me 4 k coins around that~

and nothing more

after 4 collections i get nothing

so yeah

gold I - 300 coins

gold II - 200 coins

gold III - 100 coins

bronze - 80 coins

if people try to get to lower leagues they dont get the coins

70H - 43 attacks | 17200
48H - 30 attacks | 12K
24H - 15 attacks | 6K

the most realistic in my eyes is 15 - 25 attacks in 72H

This would be, I assume to flip over all or most all cards.
So If the numbers are correct:
Nebotus 8085 coins = 21 wins needed
Kelctus 19450 coins = 49 wins needed
Muerte 23715 coins = 60 wins needed
I haven’t confirmed these numbers, they were posted elsewhere but if they’re true.

So even if you win every battle, you need to gem quite a lot. And lower level get unranked vs rank 2 for top level.

If I was getting a rank 2 might be worth the effort.
