@median mural At early Game work on getting a good team and get General Thetys. She will help you a lot.
For supporter, try Nishants Bodyguard
For Attacker, Thetys pet and Uria's pet are both good

Try to get epics that are used to breed legendaries (see pinned messages of #breeding-events-and-permanent )

Try the newer ones

Then do Mazes as they are quite easy for any level without gems and offer you Mythics.

Try a fire, nature earth mythic instead of metal or magic or light ones cuz It'll take some more time to level their temples I think

Do classic duels, they'll help you in Food, gold and elemental cells.

Also with lvl 100 3 nature and R1 Earth Mythics or legendaries, you can get Rag, he can be very helpful and you don't even need a temple to level up

Also for why Nebotus is bad, look at his skills and stats. Then look at newer dark legendary attackers, maybe Zunobia or even Soul Hugger you'll realize for yourself.

Don't rush adventure map and focus on pandakens for gold.
