I say Sherezar can defeat Thalassa 1v1 (same runes), because he's faster and have multiple deny moves (+curse and blocking positive effects). But Thalassa outshines him as a denier, because spamming Mega Freeze is just OP (not to mentiom 3-turn Trait Disable).
