Here's a neat trick you can do; when the path is up go to your game and close your WiFi, then proceed down the path(you won't be able to do Respins but that's fine) then if it doesn't look like you're gonna make it after spending all your coins, exit out the game and close it, turn on WiFi and reopen the game

To put it another way, there can be times when you have real connection issues while you’re in game. When that happens you can keep playing (moving on mazes etc). But if you never reestablish connection all of that information is never sent to the server for saving. So when you quit and come back tot he game, the server loads the last known state of the game
