I just do a breed every 4hrs, alternating between the 2 trees to maximize coins production vs cost (i.e start 2 at beginning, 4hrs in gem the closest, and repeat, after that there's always a breed waiting each 4hrs, just have to clear hatchery space when needed.)

Just make sure you switch 1 back to thunder eagle before guardian runs out

So here's a not so well-known tip
During a collection, the Maze Coins have a delay before showing up and being added to your total Maze Coins.
Example: Collecting Gold from Habitats. Doing a mass collection won't immediately give you your coins until you collect on a random habitat after a brief period of seconds.

One thing you can do is stockpile it for the next maze. There's four of the collection methods you can do this on: Hatching an Egg, Collecting Food, Collecting Gold, and Feeding monsters. If done correctly, you'll get an additional 160 Maze Coins on top of your first collection.

So rather than starting with 375 coins(since you start with 150 + 225 on your First collection), you end up with 535 Maze Coins on your First Collection.

It's a slight boost to help you just in case.
