Yikes 2990 coins only doable if the game gives you perfect 225 each collection. But it doesn’t. After 3 collections, I’m already 10 short. Even with alarms to wake me up in middle of night, not gonna get 2990 with game not giving full coins 😢

That's the big issue. You can put in all the effort required to get him (collections every 4 hours) but still fall short because the game refuses to give you 225 coins despite not having collected anything for 4 hours.

Yep true dat ^^^. I not only have an alarm set, I also breed thunder eagle, which is itself a timer. Therefore, falling short and not giving me the full 225 coins is the game’s fault. The devs should take this into consideration and not make 2990 an unachievable goal 😞

if you're missing out on coins from hatching thunder eagles for example, you'll get them if you're to buy a treezard/firesaur and hatch it after the thunder eagle. If that still doesn't get you it, keep buying them and you should have the 50 by the time you've bought 2.

Yea, I don’t get full collections either. You can only miss 7 coins per collection and still get Flamerion (minus the roulette wheel).
So, if you really want him and are having collection problems, consider setting some gems aside for the last roulette wheels.

@buoyant tinsel there was a calculation I saw in one of these channels, that you could theoretically get it f2p with perfect collections @225 per collection. You’d have a bit more than 3000. That is, IF you get the full 225 per collection. But you don’t
If I remember it correctly, there’s actually 12.9 collections. Not 12 collections. Hence, you’d get a bit more than 3000. But only IF you get full 225 per collection

It keeps shortening me by 1 from each pool. Like 14 for pvp, 29 for feeding, 49 for breeding, hatching. Nothing I do makes it full 😖

It's quite complex the explain, I'll try, basically pools fill continuously, but access to the pool depends on the time you log in. So if coins added to pool after you've logged in you can't get them unless you restart. I believe the 1 or more missing happens because the system doesn't always respond quick enough to you emptying pools on previous collection. For this maze I'm doing more partial collections to avoid it and also allows me to be late with a collection without loosing coins. I spent many early maze working out the dynamics of mazes, not obsessed at all, lol (I'm a mathematician)

I’ve done partial collections before and it made me get even less overall coins. I’ve noticed what Raj Saman said to be true for a while now, for me at least. Whenever I log in to do war attacks or anything else that takes more than a minute, I get shorted even more coins. Normally, I just roll with the short collections as they aren’t too big a deal. But when it’s close like this it is very frustrating.

Ya its true i am seeing this from previous mazes also.....if you spend more time between 4 hour pool you lose more coins.....once i leaved the game open charging the phone for 1 or 2 hrs...then when i saw it i closed ...there was still 2 hrs left for breed and hatch

I’ve also likely got 49 coins waiting to be hatched since I only have one free hatchery slot.
I’m averaging 6.25 maze coins lost per collection.

The only partial collections I do are for gold and food. Feed, breed, hatch I don’t do partials. I do those once in 4 hours. I’ll try to restrain myself and not log in for the next 4 hrs

Well, I think there is also an issue with reading the correct timing of the collection too. I actually login 4h 2m after I’m done doing everything. Sometimes I get all the coins that way. I’d say it averages about 50% of the time I get full coins. But downside is that I lose about 3-4 minutes every collection. So it might not even be helpful at all.

@proven python When my alarm goes off, I work on getting all the other stuff first, then last action is to put the breed in. Then I leave the game and set a new alarm. So there’s actually a 5 minute delay from the previous alarm. I never get the full amounts.

@small cobalt If your goal is just the scroll, my math shows you should get it easily. You need 925 coins to get it. You can get 900+ from collecting every 4 hours and right before the event ends. Add the 164 you already have and I think you’re good.

FYI, for those not getting hatch coins have you checked to amount you have in the maze screen before and after hatching. I've noticed sometimes I hatch but no coins graphic appears, but the coins are added to my total.

Volthar is built as a denier, but Hookuai is built as a attacker. At the same time, the 70 dmg skill is spammable so each extra turn he steals is a lot of dmg, even if he’s been CDA
They basically have the same special but imo volthar has a better one
