It works best if you leave the game then log back in after you complete a node. Seems to reset the clock, so to speak

You don't ne d to reload after completing a node in progressived. Items do get stuck after being earnt (I could go into details when and why this happens) for which a reload is needed
On subsequent collections, a reload is required to update pools.

Why do items get stuck? 🤔 i just load twice for each collect because I'm not expecting to get everything. Confuses me crazy if i don't need to reload, start counting the hours and double checking the times. 😅

Getting items is a 2 part process, earning and dropping them;
For example, pools full, 6 gold items available.gold. to get items, you need to collect 6 times from habitats, wait then collect once. If you are too slow and an item drops while you are still 'earning' them, then 1 item gets stuck. Same happens for food ,(click 4 times to feed, wait and click once)

The numbers is how many yo need to have, you always buy from the all items not individual and the time is a way to know how many logins you are supposed to have, when you are on a new node you can do a full collection without waiting

You collect every 8 hours, but if you complete a node you do a repeat collection at the same point. 1st you gem after 3 collections (16 hours), then another 5 collections later (1 day 8 hours later after 1st gem). Then final gem is 6+ collections (1 day 16 hours after 2nd gem). That is a total of 88 hours or 3 days 16 hours. It's a 4 day event so you an 8 hour buffer window, but you can also save gems doing a food/gold collection right before it ends and you hit the 3rd gem buyout.

@somber nebula did you spend gems on invidual items or the total buyout? Never spend gems on a single resoruce item (like gold, breed, etc). You just pay the large gem cost at the top once you ready to skip the node. If you know 8 hours has passed and you aren't getting collections then just restart the game. Breed/Hatch is only 70% chance I believe, so just spam breed 2 treezards until you get it. Gold and Feed is easy to try again. Setting 8 hour timer on phone is very helpful.
