@calm hound if you can read code, you can look up Dorijanko’s progressive guider on github (C++) or my code on MLGuides discord server (Perl).

Summary: add up each individual item cost as you click through the items shown on the bottom. That total cost / the cost to skip is a discount percentage for that node. Do this for each node and you can calculate the discount percentage for each node.

Then you can calculate the cost to skip each node per each item collected by subtracting the highest item cost then multiplying by the discount percentage, rounding up a whole number. Do this with each item and keep track of how many hours it would take.

Final step is to calculate the best strategy. I suppose any searching algorithm will do for finding the next highest gem reduction per X items / hours passed across all of the nodes that you need to go through for the rank that you want, and repeating until you get to 3d16h or the max time of the progressive.
