Also, I was up really late (or early depending on how you look at it) so my brain was not functioning at 100%. Also I had completely forgotten about Hyperia's guide. If I had to do it again I wouldn’t spend any gems on these stones progressives. I think my thinking at the time was more like “80 gems for 105 cells of a decent monster”, and I wasn’t sure SP would make these four available in magic stones again given that stones normally have really old monsters (Copycat, Learnean, etc). This time around I just took the free 70 cells / 100 stones. 🙂

Total up individual cost for items, compare to cost to skip whole node, this provides a multiplier. Now apply multiplier to cost of what's remaining. various roundings needed. I have a spreadsheet for it, but need to automate it, so can just enter new numbers each time

Follow the tips under pinned messages. Follow guides put out by Dorijanko (or if there isn’t a guide use one that’s similar)

Ultimately you will need to spend gems. If I remember correctly, with perfect collections it’s like 69 gems or so for 1 day island like imigbo and 130-170 gems for a “tale” monster (although with mythic price increase, Vandaken might be more)

For a normal progressive like Kronx that’s coming up, it’s been around 100 gems with perfect collections.

For exact numbers refer to Dori’s guides.

I usually do my progressive every 4 hours; 3 gold, 2 feed, because there's often mazes on, and i like collecting my goodies. I do partial or longer collections when I'm not going to be on for a presise time. The less times you collect the better, easier to time what you get, and you don't lose that extra minute between loading for the collect. 4 and 8 hours is when those gold/feed pools come together without loss, so that's the best time. Or hourly works. @short junco

Because it's set up in case of a delay at start, usually guide doesn't come out immediately.

Last time players complain pools different for last node, and I made a mistake it wasn't 11/11 breed/hatch but 11/6

and then use that data to make the guide

What's the best strategy for stopping after 50 cells? Was lazerbeams strategy do nothing, spending almost nothing? Can't see the guide for cells.

20 cell node takes 1d, cost 1 gem (1d1hr+20 minutes = 0 gems)
30 cell node takes 1d8hrs, cost 1 gem (1d9hrs+20minutes = 0 gems)
There 2d 14 hrs left currently, so if just starting 20 cell node now can still make it easily

Seems like pools are different, if you have time try reloading every 10/15 minutes (once 2hrs is up) a you might be able to determine to drop rate for food. Normally +1 every 2hr, so 4 in 8hrs, 3 doesn't fit into 8hrs nicely. @graceful linden
