Interesting way to start the Hornet progressive, have to manually insert the tokens you collected. For a second I thought, OMG is the whole thing going to be tokens?!! I should have kept collecting them even after I had 5 of each! But no, just regular progressive after that.

Itโs subjective. Some are okay to spend 100+ gems per phase if they want to rush. If youโre just intending to get the hero, youโll have to spend when itโs low and does not make sense waiting another few hours maybe 30-50 each phase?

It's just how it works, do the breed, then the next hatch gives you the egg
Mazes are the same, the hatch credit is generated by breeding.

On 20 cells after the intial collection spend 98 gems. But after the initial collection it is 150 gems.

You don't need to gem for hatch yet, you have uptk 8hrs to collect the egg,
The next egg is added to the pool at 8hrs, so current one in pool needs to be collected before that happens, or before you need to skip a node.
