On chest 2, use 1 gems after 2 collections, not including the first one.
On 15 cells, use 14 gems after 2 collections, not including the first one.
On 20 cells, use 14 gems after 3 collections, not including the first one.
On 65 cells(r0), use 12 gems after 9 collections, not including the first one.
Total gem cost: 43 gems.

As i said before credits go to @ruby jungle 's guide to progressives and with almost (if not) perfect collection, you'll only end up spending around 100 gems total as opposed to 200+ gems. I believe it would have been around 40 or so gems in total if you bought island boost.

As for mazes, just keep on collecting every 4 hours Constantly as soon as the maze starts. Maze might be starting in a couple hours from now so set an alarm or check around discord.

#

And make sure (if you can) you have the maximum amount of coins you could get with perfect collections. Let me explain:
For example you start with 150 maze coins.
You get maze coins for doing different tasks such as:

#

Hatching = 50 coins
Breeding = 50 coins
Collecting Food from Farm = 50 coins
Collecting gold = 30 coins
Feeding Monsters = 30 coins
Doing multiplayer battles = 15 coins.
Which sums up to 225

#

So as soon as the race starts, you start off with gold,feed,collecting food, breed (pandakens for now) , then hatch the pandaken ( till you get your 50 maze coins which is usually given when hatching pandakens)

#

Then pvp

#

Then after collecting as much as you can, breed a thunder eagle (which will give you 50 maze coins as soon as you start it) then buy a thunder eagle.

#

Both serves as a timer for your next collection, and when you hatch the thunder eagle, it should give 50 coins straight up (do pandakens if not or buy common eggs till you get 50 coins)

#

So after all this, you should end up with 375 maze coins total
Then 600, then 825, and so on and so forth

#

If you're short, try and go back to other tasks and see where you lacked

I just maximize collections

and do a certain number of collections before I gem and move on to the next node

basically the faster you get past the first nodes, the cheaper the cost for completing the node you're aiming for

Best Strategy for Doing Progressive Islands (Gorg)
Definitions:
Collection- Consists of the maximum amount of items that can be collected within the pool
Pool- Amount of items that can be collected at most within a span of time (which is 8 hours)
Gem- To spend gems after x amount of collections in order to maximize overall cost of progressives
Strategy:
basically after x amount of collection, you gem it
also after each collection, the "pool resets" meaning you can collect max amount of items again

here are the pools for each item:

Gold piece = 6
Food piece = 4
Egg piece = 1
Breed Piece = 1
Bomb - 1 every 2 hours
PVP piece - no limits

Now in order to maximize overall cost of progressives here is the general thing you need to do:

1st node = collect, collect,collect, gem (13)
2nd node = collect,collect,collect,collect, gem (26)
3rd node = collect, collect ,collect, collect, collect ,collect,collect,gem (23)
Total Cost: 62 Gems for r0 Gorg

Now here are the best ways to collect Each Items:

Gold piece = Spam Collect until you get max pieces, most of the time you only end with 5, so reset your game and it should give the last one after you collect

Food piece = get a high level monster, feed it a bunch and spend like 20k-50k food or until right before it levels up and learns a skill, then exit, wait a while, then feed any monster and you should get all 4 at once

Breed Piece and Egg piece = best way to do this is to hatch a pandaken, or breed a Firesaur+Rockzilla (which should give you the Breed Piece) then hatch the egg you get from that

Bomb - Just do the battles

PVP piece - Same as above

Best Strategy for Doing Progressive Islands (Gorg)
Definitions:
Collection- Consists of the maximum amount of items that can be collected within the pool
Pool- Amount of items that can be collected at most within a span of time (which is 8 hours)
Gem- To spend gems after x amount of collections in order to maximize overall cost of progressives
Strategy:
basically after x amount of collection, you gem it
also after each collection, the "pool resets" meaning you can collect max amount of items again

here are the pools for each item:

Gold piece = 6
Food piece = 4
Egg piece = 1
Breed Piece = 1
Bomb - 1 every 2 hours
PVP piece - no limits

Now in order to maximize overall cost of progressives here is the general thing you need to do:

1st node = collect, collect,collect, gem (13)
2nd node = collect,collect,collect,collect, gem (26)
3rd node = collect, collect ,collect, collect, collect ,collect,collect,gem (23)
Total Cost: 62 Gems for r0 Gorg

Now here are the best ways to collect Each Items:
Gold piece = Spam Collect until you get max pieces, most of the time you only end with 5, so reset your game and it should give the last one after you collect

Food piece = get a high level monster, feed it a bunch and spend like 20k-50k food or until right before it levels up and learns a skill, then exit, wait a while, then feed any monster and you should get all 4 at once

Breed Piece and Egg piece = best way to do this is to hatch a pandaken, or breed a Firesaur+Rockzilla (which should give you the Breed Piece) then hatch the egg you get from that

Bomb - Just do the battles

PVP piece - Same as above
