Could anybody tell me if my team finishes the team-war season in legendary IV league and than in the extra season loses a war are we still going to get the legendary IV prizes?

You get the reward based on your rank at the end of the season. If you started a war 1 minute before the season ends, you will get the reward for the league you are in, after that war.
That is why there is a 2 day time of no trophies. They have to wait till all wars are completed for that season.

Hopefully it’s not only “newly created teams” that this will affect? Some groups of players just switch between different existing teams, letting the unused teams fill with low level members so it falls low in the rankings at which point they all migrate back into the now low ranked team

The timer matters because everyone who sees it is able to determine when war ends. If a team is hunting another team, they try to learn when their target’s war ends. When the hunter team knows it, they roll when the hunted team’s war ends. If they roll at the same time, the odds of matching are higher.

No biggie it happens. We dropped into the 300’s. The new war has a slated against a team with a bunch of 150 level players but their team is only ranked in the 5600’s hundred with 46 wars. What the heck. Oh well. So we drop again in the ranks. Maybe we will eventually get some easy wars. Not holding my breath

Hi folks, Does anyone know what these stats are actually measuring? Is the victorious attacks/attacks used talking about actual attacks in the war that just finished or overall? I have never missed doing 5 attacks in a war so I assume it is the former or otherwise there is an issue with SP data.. Also what is the intent of the ranking? I hope they aren’t going to offer rewards for player rankings because that could encourage bottom feeding to get easy wins.

My query is about the victorious attacks versus attacks used and whether that is about individual attacks in the wars rather than the use of attacks used in my battle history. I suppose I am just saying that it is not immediately evident, at least not to me.
Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of better stats about players contributions in wars and really other events too.
Would love to see the ability for leads and co's to download details of all the monster stats for the entire team. I spend hours manually collating that sort of information for our team.

My choice is not to being in such a team, I think almost every game you have to pay to be the best ML isnt different in this than any other game
And yes if it would cost less to be competitive many would be more satisfied but also more teams would be there. A company does what works and can do this because players are willing to pay. I am willing to pay for monsters but Im not willing to pay to place them thats my personal choice. Many players say they are mad because of the premium island but buy it anyway so their voices say no on different platforms but their actions say different. And so it works

That seems pretty silly. So now teams that don't even belong in legendary are stuck there for 60 days? And what happens when a bunch of teams disband and now for the rest of the season legendary consists of 50 teams instead 100? What about the team that is at 24 players at start of season now they have to wait a full 2 months to be in legendary? What about the teams that just want easy wars they will drop to 24 at season start to be excluded then beat up on every team for the next 60 days never having to worry about facing legendary teams?

That's not how its working. The top 100 are still legendary league, however currently if a team goes into L4 and then drops down, they are an extra L4 team. Anyone who rises into the top 100 partway through the season still becomes L4. So right now there are more than 50 teams classed as in L4. 51-100 + anyone else who was there previously.
It hasn't affected our matchmaking at all, as thats based on trophies. Just means we can access the Legendary Rune Chests and get Legendary Season reward. I don't know where that lands us in auto-roll, but i'm assuming not included.

This decision was taken because there are alliances constantly becoming L4 and dropping next war, and those alliances will have a really bad experience with the matchmaking times.
Also legendary 4 is based on top 100, so you can be kicked out from legendary based on other alliances wars.
We have still not executed any fixed MM so we don't have real data, as soon as we have it we will check if this cases are relevant and we will apply new rules to the system.
But without data we wanted to keep it simple and then act based on real data.

I asked same thing. I guess It's because quite a few top teams not in the pool this round as they were still in war. Next roll should be a more accurate -/+10
Also don't forget if teams opt out there will be variation. If 5 of the top 10 teams opt out then it will effectively be +/-15.
Let's just hope noone opts out so we can have some fun wars.

So the entire process should take a maximum of 56 hours🤔 with 7 hours to opt out, 1 hour for matching and 48 hours for the war and then over again. Well it isn't working. Our team never leaves 19 hours between going to war. We have always done back to back wars.
Honestly are we really just trying to find another way to incentivise big teams changing to a new team shell to avoid being in the Legendary league and to destroy the spirit of emerging teams. Seriously need to think about unintended consequences SP.

Honestly perhaps SP should just put up a big sign to say we don't care how you want to play the game. Communications is everything and the communications about this is terrible. It was supposed to be rolled out during the layover period between seasons so that people were not annoyed about the process but that hasn't happened.

How does a team ranked 358, mp 930k, match with a team ranked, 25018 mp 45k. Not us, but our current opponents last war.

We were in Champion 1 last war, promoted to Legendary when it ended. We had 28 on team 12 hours ago

So it is a bug in Legendary matching, if you have a player in cd you don’t match, no matter how many you have eligible!

So once a team reaches top 100 they are locked into autoroll for rest of the season? If so there will be a huge number in there by end of season.

Agree I think they should lock it at start of season and then unlock at end. That way if teams worthy can move up then but then not a bunch who shouldn't be in the system

Yes, some sort of promotion demotion system, could even be at intervals during the season, the trophies earned in legendary league vs the rest aren't comparible

Agree unfortunately due to one lose and about a thousand teams really close together above 5500 trophies a whole bunch got moved up into the mm system who really shouldn't have been top 100 now stuck in it

Can anyone tell me exactly how/when cooldowns occur for a player joining/changing a team?
Specifically, do they occur any time a player leaves a team? Or only if they leave during a team event such as war or race? Do they occur if player is kicked off team?

They occur when a player leaves a team during war. They also show up when you join a team that is in war will have the cd for when war ends that one wouldn't affect matching as war ends 7 hours before next matching occurs. But first could affect things shouldn't as much now as most dont for instance dont go from out of legendary into a legendary team.

Need to refine the rankings still, we have 5800 trophies and bounce between legendary 4 back then outside with alternating wins and loses. Maybe a way to net the trophies based on how close war is would keep teams in that range from jumping up to high or dropping too low

Same is happening to my team. At this point I'd rather just move down to champion simply because at least there we could do something, earn some rewards. Instead we've been stuck in limbo since this mess started.
