#tools level up too fast

In my opinion the tools level up way too fast in this build. I know you changed it because many people were unhappy with the leveling up and thought it was grindy.
I agree that it was too slow in the old build but now I got my sickle to legendary level after ONE season. Maybe that's a bug? But if it is meant that way I think it should be tweaked a bit.
Especially because of the buffs: On legendary level I get the item always one star rating better and by 25% chance a second one and that is way too imba so early in the game. I won easily the first flower show and have quite a few crops, herbs and flowers with 5 stars and that feels way too much after the first spring.

oh man this 100%. i think probably the higher levels need to just be "higher". my guess is the goal is to have new people feel a sense of accomplishment, so maybe the early levels are made to be low? That seems reasonable.but it's not hard to have everything maxed out (except possibly the bow) by autumn or winter of the first year

Yeah, I can agree with this. I got my Fishing rod to level 8 before the end of the prologue, and that was without concentrating on it specifically. I caught a lot of fish mostly to use as gifts for everyone and for selling during the prologue. I also chopped a lot of flowers, wood, collected stone/ore. I did a lot and still was able to get my slingshot and everything to level 5 before the end of the prologue. In my originally playthrough, without knowing anything else about the game because it was my first time playing, I did actually get my fishing rod to level 10 before the prologue. (Fishing is just so fun)

I ll voice the opposite opinion. I personally greatly enjoyed the increase in tool level up speed. Makes me feel a lot less annoyed at having to grind the exp. Something to get done and then just never have to worry about it again.

While I do agree that, to an extent, being able to max everything out in literal year 1, makes the level itself kind of "meaningless".

So I suppose a balance is yet to be reached. Perhaps making it so that it takes at least 2 years? (which is usually how most harvest moon/rune factory games go, u unlock pretty much everything in year 2 if you are efficient).

Keep in mind that I got addicted to Fishing when I first started playing and just didn't stop XD

I agree. Levelling up was much too slow previously, but too easy now.
