My theory with the bug listed above is that your mouse isn't getting locked in the middle of the screen properly and it hits the edge of the window and the game freaks out a bit. A option to try would try fullscreen. @tropic bough

Could also be accidentally brushing the trackpad, or perhaps some crazy driver interference. Windows 10 is notorious for its pen /touch functionality interfering with the mouse.

@rich prairie @frail geyser I was playing in fullscreen and I'm certain I didn't brush the touchpad because the palm rejection activates when I press keys on the keyboard and my hand is usually a good distance away from the touchpad. I have this same issue on a desktop running Windows 10 Home, latest Chrome and the game in fullscreen.

Just a wild guess, but if you turn off "enhance pointer precision" in your mouse settings, does it help? I can only figure there's something weird going on between the driver, Windows, Chrome, and the Pointer Lock API. Hard to know where. You're not the first to have issues like that, but there's really nothing weird happening in the mouse code that would create a situation like that, and Chrome has had other pointer lock problems with Windows 10 before.

There's this problem with shellshockers that the sniper bullets don't hit my opponent but I visually hit him but did no damage. It could be a bad ping but I still hit them last update

so, in it's current state, if you jump onto the ladder you wont be able to jump off, but if you walk onto the ladder you'll be able to jump off. We are looking into a fix

Yeah using Adblock isn’t supportive of the game developers...on any site you go to, the ads are how to devs and owners get money, to keep the site up, and keep development. So it isn’t the best thing to be using an Adblock

I've noticed that ladders and non-cube shaped objects get extra glitchy when there's lag or just a high ping. It's something we're aware of and a performance fix is in the works, but i'm not sure how much it will fix that particular issue. Either way - we're aware and having a look at it.

When I was playing shellshockers, a player appeared blue on the player list, but the player's name was below the red team. The player was apparently on the red team's side. I think the system is attempting to display the player on the red team, even though the name shows up as blue. I have no idea of how to reproduce this glitch. The player could have switched teams to cause this glitch, but frankly, I don't know. I would attach a screenshot, but I cannot figure out how to upload a screenshot to this chat. I will put the screenshot in #🥚・shell-shockers .

It happens when a team holds more than half a total lobby can carry from what i've seen anyway.

So if a team has 10 players; 9 will be in the appropriate spot and the 10th will be at the bottom

There's something I've been noticing in the game lately

People can intentionally make the game lag for other players by spamming wierd characters in the chat

A lot of them did look like another language

but a few of them clearly didn't

which made it fairly clear that it was probably intentional spam to make the game lag

Every time someone sends a message like that

the game freezes up for a few seconds

then the message appears and it returns to normal

this is a far more casual game than those listed before. In its current state it is far from highly competitive which is where that mechanic comes into play. Bloom in there so that no gun is too powerful over the others. It help regulate balance. You're an egg remember. Though they have hands they don't have arms so no muscle to help control recoil as well. They do their best.

Speaking of cache clearing - ever since Chrome release its v69 update last week, i have to clear the level editor browsing cache or when i test a level, none of my new changes show up. It's annoying because new objects and changes will show up in the editor itself, but when i run the game to test the changes, no luck until i clear the cache. Oh, and i only have to do that once at the start of the day, but not again until the next day. Why? FANTASTIC QUESTION. Chrome... i loathe you.

I used to be a fan of firefox, but working on flash games years back cured me of that. It would do some kind of weird check every 20 seconds or so that would make flash chug and it made it impossible to work on. It also started to degrade in other ways and i got sick of it. Bug Report - Eggs are randomly going invisible for other players.

How it happens/when it occurs - This bug occurs randomly, I have seen it quite a few times, an egg will have a gun out but be invisible. The gun will stay visible on the other hand. This bug still makes it difficult to see the other players

What should happen (if the bug wasn't there) - The egg should be able to be seen normally, full body, customizations, and hats.
