Do we know what it says?
And can we pin the other cyphers as well?
@raw gust which cypher helped the most in your translation
this guy
nice
I swear more letters are appearing the longer I look at this
got it
me Who say so has come that realm of mine?
f(o)r hopes als(o) are pinned to which are a [name?] and notion we can naught else assign
now if only I knew what the fuck it meant
No one has seen Heaven or Hell, O heart of mine;
Who, say you, has come from that realm, O heart of mine?
Our hopes and fears are pinned to that to which,
Save a name and notion, we can naught else assign.
How?
I believe it’s origin is Omár Khayyám
They do reference Khayyam a lot I feel
If I’m not mistaken, he had a literal cult following in the early 1900’s.
Time to do some research bois I’ll see. Ore about this dude
👌
@late tinsel do Bebe have grammatical significance like the four letters in a box next to the quote
Veves?
The voynich like art that’s next to the quote from dickchess
this text is tiny and I'm not putting up with it
naught else assign [?]4? No one has seen Heach enan heals of somine also, conna
flon that l
^in case any one else wants to do it
the voyinch stuff is not Veve
I solved it for ya
Ahhhhhhh ok
told you he was good
It was so fast too
Wait then what would you call the giant geometric symbol next to the quote
Where has Omar Khayyam come up in Hunt lore before?
First I’ve seen Omar’s work, but I’ll look into it when I get some free time. No, veves have no grammatical language to follow. It’s just symbols.
he shows up in the steam trading cards backgrounds!
OH THATS RIGHT
Yeah I remember when we ran across that. Interesting to see him referenced again.
Maybe that’ll be my next big info dig. Seems like a pretty interesting subject.
might as well post them here for easy access
So did a little homework
Omar Khayyam (18 May 1048 – 4 December 1131) was a Persian mathematician, astronomer, and poet.
HOWEVER
The Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám was written by the eccentric English scholar Edward FitzGerald, drawing on his loose translation of quatrains by the 12th-century poet and mathematician Omar Khayyám.
When, in 1863, it fell into the hands of John Ruskin, he declared: ‘I never did – till this day – read anything so glorious.’ From that moment, there began a cult of Khayyám that lasted at least until the First World War, by which time there were 447 editions of FitzGerald’s translation in circulation.
John Ruskin actually started a cult based off of Omar Khayyam
This is the core of the cult "XXIV
Ah, make the most of what we yet may spend,
Before we too into the Dust descend;
Dust into Dust, and under Dust to lie
Sans Wine, sans Song, sans Singer, and – sans End!
XXXV
Then to the lip of this poor earthen Urn
I lean’d, the Secret of my Life to learn:
And Lip to Lip it murmur’d – ‘While you live
Drink! – for, once dead, you never shall return.’
LXIII
Oh, threats of Hell and Hopes of Paradise!
One thing at least is certain – This Life flies;
One thing is certain and the rest is Lies;
The Flower that once has blown for ever dies."
So John Ruskin went crazy after falling in love with a younger woman that he drew as his muse, when she died he was grieving. Until a bunch of manipulative medians, led by Annie Andrews, took him in and told him he could see the girl (Rose, who used to call him St Crumpet) again. He from then on went crazy trying to recreate her in art and bring her to life. He created a suicide-death-cult bent on speaking to Rose. On his deathbed he wrote an autobiography while insane, called Praeterita in the 1880s
That certainly is interesting.
However I can't find any information on the suicide death cult the article spoke of
Well that does certainly sound like something that would fit into Hunt's lore quite well.
All I can find are these Omar Khayyam Clubs that sprang up as reading ground and analysis of the book.... the Rubáiyát was a rejection not just of Christian morality, but of religion itself. There is no afterlife, Khayyám implied, and since human existence is transient – and death will come much faster than we imagine – it’s best to savour life’s exquisite moments while we can. This didn’t mean throwing oneself into wild hedonistic excess, but rather cultivating a sense of presence, and appreciating and enjoying the here and now in the limited time we have on Earth.
More of a YOLO mentality
definitely fits well in the grim Hunt world
@proper cradle Could we get this pinned to the lore-discussion https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/370142302196334593/623320987089502241/unknown.png
Sorry for the text dump, I’m going into the game now to try and translate the weapon skins
Hey guys so I took a glance in the files to see if I can find anything and in the levels folder there are two labeled civil war and cemetery.... they’re levels I think but I don’t know how to access them since they’re pak files
Unless that’s just what they labeled each map
@late tinsel these symbols don’t make sense. It’s p4n or jxv? For the jack o diamonds skin
looks more like a 6 for that first bit to me
@raw gust could you help me quickly with something? I just need some of your high def screenshots
The Black Wight’s blade
ok, let me start up the game quick
Ty so much
And can you confirm what year Jessica died on bad blood and bedlam lullaby
Btw I have found something interesting. On the Brother’s keeper, Charlie Salter was gifted it by his comrade Yuri, the description reads “The inscription was added later, once Charlie revealed his true intentions in the bayou” yet he engraved “a guard in the darkest days”. But the name of the gun is in reference to Cain and Abel, where Cain killed his brother out of jealousy. So how does the engraving match all that
@raw gust thank you so much!!! How did you get such a good shot. You answered my next question haha
No probs, damn dude nj
np
Does Huff have a kid?
he has a wife
But wife’s name is Augusta
that's why I thought it might be his daughter
And if you get more screenshots of Swamp Peach (if we missed any translations) I can work on them
I wouldn’t look too deeply into singular characters. Some seem completely random or mashed together. I don’t know if it’s intentional or not, but I’ve translated stuff to just be disappointed it’s nothing but random letters.
but there was a lot of repetition, so I think it was still (mis?-)quoting omar
Ok, then all we have left to decode is: Empty Cairn, Pioneers Blood, and Black Wight
Lmao gj translating swamp peach though that was tough
@late tinsel gotcha I won’t read too much into it
especially since it kept cutting off
Sorry 😅 well at least you don’t have to do it again
Any ideas on this? Btw I have found something interesting. On the Brother’s keeper, Charlie Salter was gifted it by his comrade Yuri, the description reads “The inscription was added later, once Charlie revealed his true intentions in the bayou” yet he engraved “a guard in the darkest days”. But the name of the gun is in reference to Cain and Abel, where Cain killed his brother out of jealousy. So how does the engraving match all that
he fucking murdered yuri
That’s what I thought, I just don’t get the engraving
here's a better black hand
Btw there are 5 secret achievements do we have any way to know what they are?
Thank you!
I find it odd that the pearl isn't mirrored
Thanks
I found it odd some aren’t mirrored
Also some have serial #’s that don’t appear on the regular Gomes or don’t match model #
Like Certain Victory just has a random 43632 etched in the side of the small muzzle
anything with this forge mark was probably made by jos
blood oath and first forge both have it
That is the symbol for the twins Jos and Fin McGowin
I think thats their mark because it appears on a couple things
I guess that's probably sort of obvious though
It’s a cool Mark, one thing that’s interesting is how many people are trying to kill the twins or hate them for some reason
everyone's trying to kill everybody
except for lynch
she's just killing whoever the deck tells her to
btw, night seer and night acolyte both have a lot of voyinch writing on their cloaks
Do they?? I’ll have to look into that
looks like the rev might have some too
The black hand isn’t making too much sense to me
they aren't as easy to screengrab thouugh
Yeah since we can’t look at them
That might have to be a duo team in game taking pics
What do we know about the True Deck btw?
Ahhh gotcha
Woah! Who would have thought
Bruh
Btw on the blade, around the circle is written “You shall ____ see the eighth circle” and ends with something
I think it’s Dante’s Inferno?
that's pretty hot ngl
Bolgia Eight: In this trench, the souls of Deceivers who gave false or corrupted advice to others for personal benefit are punished. They are constantly ablaze, appearing as nothing so much as living, speaking tongues of flame.
lynch weapon
punishing those who give false advice
wew
Is that from the coat?!
sorry, that's a description of the 8th circle
how fallible is the true deck anyway
In Dante Alighieri's Inferno, part of the Divine Comedy, Malebolge () is the eighth circle of Hell. Roughly translated from Italian, Malebolge means "evil ditches". Malebolge is a large, funnel-shaped cavern, itself divided into ten concentric circular trenches or ditches. Ea...
god dante was fucking metal
The True Deck note from the desk of a hunter
Dante was super metal
Multiple references to it in Hunt too, I think it’s from the Steam cards
I've been looking at this voyinch so long I can sort of just read it if I squint
I think the part after "you shall see the eighth circle" is just a decoration
something like that
Yeah I thought so too
It has it both at the beginning and the end of the sentence
And I’m not sure how to read the peripheral voynich
Does anyone know if during this time voudou or hoodoo was a more popular practice in Louisiana?
Btw just FYI I’m compiling all the lore focused news articles or journals from the Hunt website and compiling them into one google doc
I’ll post here once done
The swamp peach text is bugged
Its cut of at 3/4 of the barrel
Those are the weird characters
Black hand reads, charrred soul,
@wintry panther both hoodoo and Vodou were around at the time, but it’s hard to say which was more popular in the region, considering that they were seen as curiosities by observers.
Thanks @amber harbor
@late tinsel thanks, it’s a weird time period because there is so little written about this.
I’m sure there’s info to be dug up, I’ve just got my hands full at the moment. Looking up Marie Laveau and Doctor John are good starting points. Both were real life historical figures.
Yeah and Im documenting all lore based articles Hunt has released on their website
👌
Here are the History of.... articles all compiled alphabetically
Here is an updated list of legendaries with translations included
Here are all of the news journals with lore attached and images
For anyone that needs to catch up I have zipped all the pdf's excluding the pinned lore doc
In it is the Book of Monsters, Legendaries, Locations, Louisiana Case Files, Music Lyrics, and News
By the way I don't know if it has been translated but here are the pictures from Remembering Jonathan Hayward Hunter
My name is John Hayward Hunter, and I will die tonight. It is the 99th time I write down these words.- Voynich "Look into the shade"
But I know I will probably die in this southern swamp. Surrounded by creatures of madness. Always wanted to visit New Orleans.
Voynich- " And you shall see"
You know this when you join the Society, on your very first hunt. You know there is little difference between hunter and prey.
Voynich- "Simon lying in"
So for you my daughter, I have nothing to leave. I possess no property save for the knowledge of a terrible truth.
Voynich- "The eighth circle"
Yet another reference to the eighth circle @raw gust
begone to the ruts of hell
also, minor nitpeak, and I know I supplied this translation, but you should spell out "one hundred" for the centum
haha yessir
Ill change it in my version but wont update all the pdfs I posted on here (so I dont get kicked for spam XD)

So if I got this right - The Hunters that we play as are apart of some occult secret society of Hunters right?
Does that mean they are all part of the same organization that supplies them with equipment, dark sight, and contracts?
I think that there are several organization, and that you are controlling one of them. Hence why your hunter can die and you can still keep playing.
there are splinters and rivals to the AHA
That would make a lot of sense. What I really want to know now is whether or not the rest of the USA knows of this Incident and the Hunters. Did the US government just quartine the whole area?
Well, we can assume since there's telegraphs, information got out.
However the area is probably heavily quarantined.
Since I doubt the U.S Government would leave the government buildings intact and just allow civilians to wander in.
If I recall correctly, there's a file that says propaganda was put out masking the Louisiana incident as a plague or something.
I'm not sure though.
why some dogs and grunts have metal helmets? did someone put it on them?
Read the first article on the news pdf
They say your proof that the AHA (which has existed for centuries) is the silence and lack of knowledge
Proper Men in Black style
“The Association has existed in various forms for many hundreds of years, yet its legacy is silence—and a world freed from monstrous, mindless cannibalistic beings; free from those empty, corrupted shells once human now looking only to fill that rotting vessel with your flesh. You will have heard tell of what waits for you in the wilds. Do not underestimate its vile power.” -Huff Jones
@rotund ferry
Ah, nice.
@cloud urchin Well based on what I've been looking at-
The dogs are wearing a form of muzzle but it looks broken
And the humans have either an old styled dental rig around their head or a penance headpiece from prison
seems legit.
I can't tell which one it is on the grunts though.
It could be either one.
I do believe its a harness head cage though
Unless it is really a dental setup
witches bridle
@rotund ferry its kinda fucked up either way lol.
Yep.
what started all the zombies and stuff? some failed experiment maybe?
i'll look it up.
@cloud urchin tl;dr version, a rift opened to another universe causing a being known as the Sculptor, to start tampering with our world. This is when the AHA comes in and starts closing the rift and killing the bosses. All the creatures start from one template person and are replicated time and time again (that’s why they all look the same)
We don’t know motive or end game yet, and we don’t know the exact cause although we call it the Plague when the dead start coming alive again
that also seems legit.
it's called a witche's brace
thanks for the info. i really though it was the cause of a group of mad scientist doing some dirty work that failed really bad.
Haha no worries yeah imagine a more Lovecraftian perspective mixed with voudou and religious cultural influences. Best way to explain it is Lovecraftian gothic Horror
hey now that sounds pretty good.
Currently we are unsure of the exact process as to hunters gaining powers and all that Jazz
I posted a zip file that contains most of the lore up to date besides the pinned lore book
It’s a lot of fun. Check pinned posts for a wealth of info.
There’s A LOT and we are finally consolidating it all too
The legendary skins have a lot of Voynich (cryptography) on them and we decoded most of it yesterday. There is voynich on the legendary hunters coats too
We are also looking into completing the book of weapons
Dickchess is basically fluent in Voynich now that he translated swamp peach XD and Foxtrap is the king of knowledge
hmm how about this.. a secret organization that had future events scripted in stone. they also had a way to perform rituals that would give darksight to a group of selected few, they knew that would happen so eventually they had prepare a bunch of mercenaries or soldiers to go out and kick ass. but other secret organizations had the same idea. maybe they're a few diferent groups that belong to the same branch and decide to play a game with lives in the line lol. that would be a way to put it.
but don't mind me, i usually try to create my own lore base on what i know of the game.
Head cannon is all well and good, but we concretely know the AHA has been around for hundreds of years. It has many chapters that are very loosely affiliated and sends out calls for open hunts to other associations in completely different continents. So, there’s several associations, not just one, and they’re all aware of each other.
“King” is a pretty strong word. I’m just a fellow hunter looking for answers.
Vitam Impendere Vero
Mm, as far as seeing the future, some hunters absolutely can do that with the True Deck. Marie Laveau (not a hunter) also saw the destruction of New Orleans and the spread of the dead zone if the AHA didn’t intervene.
Not only that but the Bone Doctor also foretold the plague happening and was preparing for it
Marie Laveau wrote many times to Philip Huff Jones (the Director of AHA and Superintendent of the Asylum) regarding the spread of the dead zone
Mhm. You can see their exchange on his desk and in the louvent journal
What’s the extent of the True Deck that we know so far btw?
I know this was on the desk of the hunter so what’s it mean by not being real
We know very little. The AHA is offering pieces of the deck to hunters from the Middle East. It’s believed to tell an approximate future.
Also bone doctor is Doctor John. A real life figure.
Other hunters have decks that might carry pieces of True Deck as well
True deck tells parts of the future, there are multiple uses for it derived from different methods of drawing (I.e. drawing a card in the presence of conflict, while alone, or from another person’s deck), but the deck requires blood sacrifice to function repeatedly. @wintry panther
What’s the sauce there @junior pecan ?
Collective lore, ain’t writing no bibliography. Check machete 1/2
And most of “bad as they seem”
And there was one more I’ll find
Machete
Nice. Thanks I missed that.
@junior pecan that was some interesting reading material.
@late tinsel btw besides Doctor John what other figures are historical that I can do some reading up on
@junior pecan nice I missed that too
That’s pretty dark, then why does the hunter repeat they aren’t real
By the way Doctor John (from real like) was named Doctor John Montanee
"the Father of New Orleans Voudou"
Dr. Jean (Another name for him) is remembered according to his legend, as a powerful gris gris man who was rich, got a lot of women and who was the teacher of Marie Laveaux.
Dr. Jean left Cuba to be a cook on a ship and eventually ended up in New Orleans where these characteristics of strength, charisma and fortitude landed him as a gang leader of cotton rollers. Within that community, he began to be known for his apparent supernatural powers and fortune telling abilities. This set the tone for his eventual great success in New Orleans.
Gris gris is one of the most unique characteristics of New Orleans Voudou and a tradition that persists to this day - his contribution to the New Orleans religion is unsurpassed.
||Bro theres some stuff on this article about sex magic and stuff, covering yourself in semen and being touched by both the male and female parts||
Btw, On June 17, 1881, it was announced in the Daily Picayune that Marie Laveau had died peacefully in her home. However, oral tradition states that she was seen by some people in town after her supposed demise. One of her daughters, also named Marie (a French Catholic tradition to have the first names of daughters be Marie, and boys Joseph, then each use middle name as common name) possibly assumed her position, with her name, and carried on her magical practice, taking over as the queen soon before or after the first Marie's death.
||Which means that the Marie Laveau in the game might possibly be the daughter instead of the main woman herself||
In huntverse marie didnt die
id scream they aren't real either if they are showing me future events i dont want to see
my own death, death of loved ones, a twisted eldritch horrorified world
nah im good
Touché.....
Jones is a man of science. You see multiple times in his notes where he rejects superstition and wrestles with the idea that there might be something more supernatural at work. He seems to explain what he sees with reason more than accept a religious explanation, but he can’t deny there are unknown forces at play. Even still, he will stubbornly make a conscious refusal to believe. At least, that’s my take on it.
The hunters desk is also older, idk if its still canon or not
That’s a great question
I know that I talked with some of the devs and they said that the notes from even back in 2017 they still try and keep as consistent and canon so I assume that would translate over to the desk but Ill ask for clarification
Btw if you are interested on where they get the inspiration for their guns, -> "Resources we have been skimming ourselves often included Forgottenweapons.com (and their YT presence) and took a lot of reference in from all over the web when it comes to makeshift gear, field modifications as well as experimental ammunition types"
So, lore question. How did the monster come to exist?
Which ones in particular? Or just overall?
@opal notch
Because the hive is based off of the mother of a hunter, the immolator off of a reverend, and the hounds off of a hunter's dog named Bunny.
Any or all monsters.
They were all a person at the beginning
The sculptor shaped them and mass produces them now
The source of it all is what is labeled as the "Plague" which we aren't too sure of currrently. Although what we know is that a being came from another dimension called the Sculptor and like Kebab said started making prints of the monsters
The zombies come from dead bodies being imbued with this dark liquid (like a soul) that makes them come back alive
Question: from the Louisiana Case Files this article has some writing on the side, do we know what that is?
is there a better version? I can do some photoshop wizardry
"To the untrained eye, those examples of late 18th century..."
it seems to be the same text, but inverted @wintry panther
@raw gust It is from this post https://www.huntshowdown.com/news/the-louisiana-case-file
However I was curious about the blue writing on the right side there
Ahhhh thank you
Is there a simple overview to the lore that someone can point me towards or give me that does not consist of “rootin tootin monstershootin” or bad things appear we go kill bad things?
Because after playing and seeing bits and pieces there’s obviously something big going on behind what we can see solely from gameplay
@feral pecan Here is a full compilation of almost all the lore we have up until this moment broken down into multiple pdf's. Included is the Book of Monster, Legendary descriptions with translations, History behind some in game locations, Louisiana Case Files, all the music lyrics, and all articles from their websites. This is good if you want a deep dive into the lore
I can work on a one page summary and a timeline
will need some help on that though
@feral pecan tl;dr version, a rift opened to another universe causing a being known as the Sculptor, to start tampering with our world. All the creatures start from one template person and are replicated time and time again (that’s why they all look the same) This is when the AHA comes in and starts closing the rift and killing the bosses. (This has happened many times over many centuries, even back to the Roman Empire we think)
We don’t know motive or end game yet, and we don’t know the exact cause although we call it the Plague when the dead start coming alive again.
@wintry panther let me know
@sinful trout The problem I have currently with timeline is knowing key events. Since the journals give us a more overall understand of what's happening. I will talk with you about what's important and what's not and etc. Want to put together a beginnners guide to lore for sure though
Give me a second to get online then ring me
No problem
Wait what?!?!
Dude this update is huge, there is an all out gang war now between the different divisions
Maybe he isnt dead since it isnt confirmed with eye witnesses????
"There's hushed word that in the middle of all this trouble is nothing but two young girls who overstepped their bounds. Not sure if I believe that myself, but everything I've heard seems to boil down to those two."- must be talking about the twins
@sinful trout i got a theory I want to pass through you, it appears that each different monster has themes common to a few other monsters, the Grunts, hellhounds, meatheads, and water devils have a common theme of having some larval bodies throughout them. now, for three of those monsters we believe that they turned based on coming into contact with hunter's blood, now here's the theory. Could grunts have started out as a botched initiation?
wearing farmers hats and a bonnet?
started out
or do you mean the first grunt
we know there's not infinite italian mastiffs running around the bayou
but the sculpter saw what happened to bunny and was like, "Hey, I like that, more please"
so it could go a similar route with the grunts
ahhh but shes' a hive
and she doesn't share the same larval trait the four i mentioned do
and i would agree with that theory if it werent for the fact that theres so many variations of grunts
my work-around with grunt variations is that the grunt sculpting takes little work therefore the sculpter needs only to change the insides
that or humans are just so similar and decent at holding tools so the sculpter just kinda churned grunts out without any predijuce
but hives are all the same 2 variations
(my theory is hives are from a different entity) but that aside hives are hella more complicated to mass produce
even if the sculpter is the one making them they requre modifications to make them effective
therefore having to work around differnt human bodies would be hard since that space required for the hive is rather large
same with th ehellhounds, they're sculpted the same since the italian mastiff would be th emost effective breed the sculpter's reigned influence over
(and i've seen some IRL, they're fucking huge, the game doesn't do them justice)
anyways i gtg, i'll be back or on perodically later
from the QNA "Q: are hives strictly female in host body type? Or can men become hives as well.
A: So this connects to the answer about whether monsters are single occur. or multiples. As each creature originates from one particular person that is then trapped in that cycle, and the Hive was “built” from a woman, I would reckon yes, only women. We only have evidence of female Hives so far. But I can't say for sure we won't find evidence one day:
i personally dont think its [;ausible that grunts are ahas fault
@wintry panther i think that may be retconned. hold on
Letters from Russel chambers to his father
Nice
"I don't know if my Mama is in there anymore. Her mind, I mean. Her soul What happens to your soul when you become, that? I've heard there are more than one now, but they all look like my Mama. They all look just like me"
Ahhh gotcha so the QNA was before the book of monsters?
correct
Damnit, who killed huff, fin and joss parted ways, so who is the second girl? Is it the new girl or Lynch?
Right?!
So we now know there are groups "Out in the grounds, word's coming back that it's more ruthless than ever. Huff's men killing our men, our men killing Doctor John's, Doctor John's killing the Reverend's. And so on. "
Interesting side track, the Reverend (Ishim Gird) founded the healing water's church - Gird purchased land from the dwindling Blanchett estate, but ran into opposition from the Widow (Marie Laveau) once she understood his intentions. Despite this, in 1870 Gird's Church was built, named Healing-Waters for the bayous it stood amongst.
As the infection took hold, he witnessed his congregation tear each other apart in Healing Waters Church. Barely escaping with his life, he vowed to rid the swamp of it’s denizens.
could be that this is before fin and jos parted ways
were still missing a lot about "bad as they seem"
Thanks man helped a lot @wintry panther
@feral pecan ( ̄ー ̄)ゞ Glad I can help! I'll let you know when I create a beginners guide to lore
Working with Var'uun on it
Isnt the dead superintendant the one at the prison, not the asylum?
Boi I hope so
That might have been Huff’s successor that died
No, it mentioned the successor of the superintendent and continued that Huff’s men were killing their men. So, maybe it just wasn’t clear, considering it’s hard to be Huff’s men if Huff is dead.
I didn’t realize jails had superintendents, but they do, apparently.
Would make more sense to be the prison superintendent
Huffs the middle name
where can i find the lore of the game? the long and detailed one?
getting more intresed in the game while i am playing it
@glacial elbow most lore docs are in the pinned comments
ty
if you want a summary ping me
its pretty confuzing at first
we're working on a timeline but idk when itll be ready
@glacial elbow Here is a full compilation of almost all the lore we have up until this moment broken down into multiple pdf's. We don’t know motive or end game yet, and we don’t know the exact cause although we call it the Plague when the dead start coming alive again.
@amber harbor Im putting together a beginners guide rn with help from Var'uun. The problem with a timeline is that there are alot of details currently missing about from the beginning of the plague and dates
Thx a bunch @wintry panther
No problem! Always happy to help get people into the lore 😄
I personally would start with Book of Monsters (to help you understand the overall monsterization process) -> History of Game locations (to know the major players in the world and a nice backdrop lore) -> Articles from the website (since they give you little tid bits and stories and dive more into specific moments, im working on confirming if everything is still canon)->look at the lore link for the Book of Weapons (dives SUPER deep into specific characters and story points)
@amber harbor Think you got a sec to help me out with the Beginners Guide? Just need some advice on something
alright ill dm you
KebabWarrior the could(n't) call me an expert man
wasn't the general relativity equation published at 1905 and then taught years afterwards?
i wonder where this came from, or if there is something behind it
i guess the environment artists had a sense of humour
the first one is so close
if only they knew how close they were
@warm lagoon where did you find this?
its at arden parish
huh never knew
theres also a back to the future reference on another whiteboard
Btw I feel like there might be something at Healing Waters Church im not sure
I need to explore more around that area
My attempts to find the taxidermist's room in the Slaughterhouse was a dud btw, there are definitely second stories of the main building but I can't access either of them
Question: For the Assassin do you think Vincent killed political figures, and do you think he had anything to do with the Hangings of the Italian mobsters or murder of David Hennessy?
@amber harbor
idk
@rotund ferry It is a work in progress but here is what I have written up so far....
Lmk if anything needs revision or if you can help me out
@wintry panther personally i think vincent was behind the kilkings that the mobsters was hung for, this might be why he was distressed watching it
That's what I was thinking too i just didnt know if I should be stating it as factual. But ill change it to show we think that is what happened
Changed it to "There is suspicion that Vincent was involved in the murder of David Hennessy and local political figures. "
What can you guys tell me about the Twins ?
@atomic crow I gotchu
Jos and Fin McGowan, the infamous Hunter twins, are known for many things. As of currently we know for certain that they were both EXTREMELY deadly. John Voelkel (Empty Cairn legendary) has cursed himself to try and reach them and William Salter had his gun taken by them. Fin has come in contact with a Loa (a voudou deity) and engraced the snakes she saw on the Snake Seer crossbow.
We believe they may have been behind the assassination of John Huff Jones (the head of the AHA). however, they do not hunt together any more as they parted under what seems like bad terms
Salter got shot by one of em, they looted his shotgun
Lynch thinks they're important and is supporting them.
Yeah all we know is that they took his weapon and are "putting it to better use"
Lynch is basically a hitman for the AHA right? or is she just a super competent hunter?
Gotchaaaa, yeah she is the most baddest of asses
nah
what was it
one of the masteries said they shot him
can't remember which one but i'm positive
salter's wife was dead
and twins thought he murdered her and hung her in a tree
they ask if he knew her, and he just starts bawling, so they assume he murdered her
I got no clue what it is, i just know its out there
nuuuu
Its in one of the entries for bad as they seem
one that i dont believe we have
it should be in bad as they seem 8 & 9
Btw what is up with Ada Ruth Shell having a dead kid even though she was a virgin
Nevermind just realized it was a failed larva nest that didnt turn her into a monster
As I am writing the Beginner's Guide, A little note for @atomic crow "Why it was different, what it was for. For me it was too late, the damage to my reputation was done, the AHA in disarray. That's another story. One we'll have time to go into But that's all to do with the Twins. " I am unsure as of now what the Twins did, but it seems the results is thatthey dismantled the AHA and it turned into a bunch of clans (some follow the Bone Doctor, some followed Huff, others followed the Reverend) that fought amongst each other
#lore-discussion #lore-discussion-hardcore Here it is, the Beginner's Guide to Hunt Lore!!!!!! Currently we have a quick summary of what has happened up until this point, and the origins of each of the monsters. We are working on updating this with anything we find and anything else we feel will help introduce people to the lore of Hunt Showdown. Let me know if anything needs revising. Thanks!
Update. Lore entries should be in by 3 am atlantic time
@glacial elbow @feral pecan Since you both asked here is a summarized version of the book of monsters and a more elaborate summary of the game so far
The most updated and extensive doc on all things lore
@wintry panther nice i will defiently take a look
@sinful trout so i have a theory
It's not very good though, ask me about it when you are on
@bold tiger just post me that wall of text, better be gud tho
am always up for theories
Shit post me in dms
The lore discussion tab was made for walls of texts
Be warned Prowler will Sherlock Holmes the hell outta theories
XD
@sinful trout Quick question; what do we know on ritual blood so far besides it messes up organic things
it's filled with djinni and shit
We know it has a demon infused into it. And it protects you from infection
What would happen if you inject a meathead with antidote
Did the locust plague affect louisiana? If so were there any lasting affects?
hives maybe?
Hives makes sense, but the question is how did the locust plague affect louisiana, and hives were made by the sculptor. @quick pine
Locust plague may have inspired the sculptor.
wait
hol up
are you tellin me
that this game
has lore that doesn't revolve around gameplay?
What do you mean? @quick pine
about things you dont directly see in game
Such as?
have you played spiderman ps4?
No, why?
cos i was gonna use an example for that
But they also say they try to make it revolve around lore as much as possible.
ok so you know how something like the assasin exists, and theres lore around it? the assasin is apart of the game, something you can interact with and directly observe, thats what i mean by lore that revolves around gameplay. just to put up a strawman, if hunt had lore about the collapse of the mongolian government causing an economic crisis in east asia, but that lore didn't effect anything about the game, then that'd be what i mean by lore that doesn't revolve around gameplay
so a locust plague isn't something that we see or interact with in game, is it? we might see the consequences of it, but we don't actually see the plague
thats what i meant by lore that doesn't revolve around gameplay
am i making sense? or does it just sound like a loose jumble of words trying to be a sentence?
Its 1895, and the farmers supposedly already wiped them out sometime around 1900, so interactable locusts are off the chart, I mean things like Dead locusts, abandoned villages, etc.
Or dying crops less crops
And yes I mean consequences of the locust plague. @quick pine
@quick pine if you are looking for lore that doesn’t affect gameplay this game has a TON. Check out the zip I posted here a little up. Inside you will see that the legendaries are made around characters that are notorious or amazing hunters during this time. The news pdf is all from their website and has lore leading up to the game. And the history of locations talks about places on the map. Plus there’s A ton more
@leaden panther currently there are no hints of a cure being made. Maybe because the meathead is too far evolved... or some other reason. But the biggest contributors to lore are Harold Black, Doctor Reinhard, and an eccentric mans name I can never remember. Black writes more pragmatically, about the physical features, the Doctor shows a more medical astuteness, and the weird man is more occult
Alrighty
I was wondering if the antidote could effect its ability to sense poisoned victims
@leaden panther What do you mean?
Meatheads have the ability to sense hunters who have been poisoned. I was wondering if the shot could affect that if used on a meathead
Or affect the leeches it produces
I think the meathead has different anatomy considering surving without a head, producing leeches, etc. A key factor is that it stops or prevents poisoning, we don't know if it stops like hives, or meatheads.
It likely only stops poisoning.
@leaden panther
Also they describe it in the book of monster as a symbiotic relationship
you cant use a syringe on a meathead
who would be crazy enough to get close to it melee range and jab with a syringe
and it doesnt rely solely on poison to see
it senses when your near like 5 m range
and knows when the leaches die
not to mentions whats the chances the tiny syringe would even get in far enough
Not to mention we know almost nothing about the pathology of the affliction and how much is supernatural vs. tangible.

The malfunction of the cartridges troubles me deeply. Our own tests showed the initial designs for that ammunition to be stable. I can only assume that what I sent to you was in some way compromised by the journey. Perhaps by heat, perhaps cold, perhaps the movement of the coach over bumpy roads. I will not know until we have performed further tests, and I find no support among the engineers or from my father. Though tragic, the incident confirms what a dangerous weapon this could be, with further testing and precautions. I cannot believe there is no future for this weapon. I will continue to refine the design, as I think a weapon capable of spreading fire at a distance such as this would be of great help against the creatures you have described, and as your experience of four nights past has proved
With the highest respect

I am putting together a doc with bad as they seem all together
Do you think there are haitian gods in the huntverse?
there seems to be a lot of evidence towoards that
although they arent gods, but rather spirits
Like lesser loa?
Are there any named spirits or were they "killed."
I dont think their names are said, but they often show themselves through possession or snakes
Is it to show loyalty to damballah, do we know why?
Here is what I have compiled so far
Bad as they seem spoilers
||the snakes are used by an entity who doesnt want lynch to achieve her goal, who says is defeating the sculptor||
Completely unrelated, just a quick statement, voudun reminds me a little about greek mythology.
@wintry panther thx for the epic starter guide btw!!
So I’ve got a question for you guys. Have we gotten anything to talk about the reasoning of the “quickplay” mode lorewise because i can kinda pick up on some things the game puts down but at the same time i could be catching a false positive and it’s reasoning is really “because vidya gaems”
Mostly just asking if any like snippets of journals or news articles about it have come out?
@feral pecan So, the wellspring is an energy from the sculptor's world, at least, as far as I know.
So, if papa legba ever comes into play in the huntverse he will be very important, as it would allow people to provide information to Scognamilio to continue his study.
Or other important persons.
Any other intermedian would be very important in lore. If not papa legba.
So are there haitian symbols on weapons that resemble this?
Yep. Veves are all over Hunt
Also we don’t know 100% what the Wellspring is besides it being able to heal a damned Hunter’s soul.
There’s an entire lore page dedicated to it as a letter from Huff to the AHA hunters.
@late tinsel Which are you talking to?
To whom it may concern, @acoustic owl
https://www.huntshowdown.com/news/a-communique-for-all-hunters
@late tinsel The symbol is papa legba's, an intermedian, people believe these creatures as loa, so is there an intermedian? If so, a weapon should have this symbol if they know or have communed with a "loa," not the alphabet.
Since the people of the 1800s believe this to be Voudou, then there is likely a hunter that has communed with a loa, through ritual or meeting them, so people likely view the intermedian ad papa legba, the intermedian between the living and dead.
Ah, veve is the symbols, apologies.
@acoustic owl Yeah, I wrote the book on claiming a lot of this was based on loa and was pumped when I found out I was a little vindicated when they first released lore where they directly called the sources of the Event loa, but I will absolutely be the first to warn you that Huntverse is not black and white or clear cut with our understanding of anything and its narrative is completely unreliable.
It's very likely that loa (& petro loa) as the Voudou religion (specifically Haitian Voudou) understand it, don't exist. Religion in Hunt is almost certainly used as a way for those writing the narrative to explain what they simply can not comprehend. It's cosmic horror, the witnesses can only conjure visions of hell and spirits to describe the events.
HOWEVER- there are elements of Haitian Voudou that DO seem to have some kind of impact on Huntverse's magic system. Veves are everywhere, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're communicating with loa, just that the veves seem to be doing... something? That's about as much as we know for the time being about the veves, but I don't take it too literally and, based on what the writers have said in the past, I don't recommend anyone take religion at face value in terms of what we see.
But in a long-winded way of answering your question, if you wanna look for Papa Legba's veve, I'd start with the Bone Veve and look around from there. I haven't specifically identified it, but I've seen a few that have repeated and appear multiple times on legendary guns.
@late tinsel I mean as in is there an intermedian what I meant by papa legba was his symbol, nit the loa.
But, I like how thorough you got.
Thanks! To clarify and be more direct- no, I haven't witnessed any kind of intermediary entity beyond veves yet, but it's certainly an interesting thought.
@late tinsel But if you see any symbol resembling that, could you please DM me?
Yeah, I'll let you know as soon as I see more. Right now, veves appear mostly on guns and on some of the website content, but I keep my eyes peeled. I've had a theory for awhile that at some level, Voudou has a way of opening the door to the other side and the entire Louvent might simply be a case of mistaken identity started by some practitioner thinking the Sculptor was a loa and letting him through.
That's all speculation though. Take it for what you will.
So do we know if the official soundtrack for hunt has anything to with or give any bearing on the background story or lore in general as if it’s the case I may have an idea about some of the songs
In particular one that does not fit
Yes they say the soundtrack is a part of the lore too
No one has doven into that though
So extremely rough and unrefined ideas here but hear me out though. I’ve spent the last week listening to the soundtrack on repeat driving to and from class (cause they are some absolute bangers) and I have picked up on each song seemingly relating to someplace within the maps
The most obvious being the “devil in the church yard” song and relating some how to the healing waters church
Or how in “end will come” the song is A.Being sung similar to a sea shanty and B.sounds to me like what the moments before storming a water-side fort would be. So I believe it may relate to mcarmic (I believe is the name of the fort)
Where I’m going with this is each song has something to do with locations in the map
Except one. (At least I have not been able to find a wild hare where it could be) Poison Curse.
So me bringing what I know of music I decided to mesh what I know of history and looked into the actual music of the songs as they each are very interestingly made
But once again one stood out very much from the rest
Poison Curse
It is almost a newer blues/jazz-like piece with a piano, snare set, and soloist
It doesn’t fit the vibe of the other “back woods” dark country twang of the other’s
While this makes sense that jazz is here as New Orleans is the “birthplace of jazz” what doesn’t make sense is what place it is referring to the theming is skewed and doesn’t make sense
Furthermore in the song it’s clear that it is being sung within a large bar (I believe sparsely populated probably late night) with tiled floor and concrete walls due to the specific acoustics you can hear
Normally i wouldnt bring up the deal with the acoustics and back ground noises but after listening to the entire soundtrack some of them will have very specific and peaceable background sounds. Most notable being end will come(creaking deck with water and rigging means a large boat lines up also with a water based attack)and poison cure(as previously stated)
So this makes me wonder
Could the infection(plague, curse, evil doohickeys) be spreading towards a more populated area such as New Orleans? Could we be seeing the teasings of a new map based in a more civilized area?
But at the same time I could just be a crackpot reading waaaay to far into this
But please if anyone else gets a chance listen to the soundtrack closely see if you guys can pickup on something I missed or even gimme something that could turn this whole thing on it’s head
Correction not “devil in the church yard” i should’ve said “sinners blues”
The team wrote about the soundtrack here.
https://www.huntshowdown.com/news/making-of-the-hunt-showdown-soundtrack
I can nod to you catching the references to the bar atmosphere and nodding to New Orleans. Though it doesn't take place during the exact same time, there was a real life serial killer from New Orleans referenced in some of the lore where Jazz has a pretty big role to play in that story. Look up the New Orleans Axeman and you'll find it. On another hand, Marie Laveau wrote Huff warning him that she saw the end of the city, believing that if nothing is done, then it will be overrun. Could we get an urban map where the outskirts of NO are overrun? Maybe. Would it get so bad that it could possibly happen? Again, maybe, now that we know the hunters are fighting amongst themselves.
I’d just like to apologize because after reading that article I feel like an idiot because I didn’t realize they released an article about the soundtrack and talked about it. And it really sounds like I copied everything from them.
Well I feel dumb
Thanks for bringing that up though
No prob! I also don't wanna come across as if I was trying to embarrass you! It's great you pulled so much from your own critical analysis!
No prob you’re fine!
Do you have a link tothe letter laveau wrote to huff?
I don’t think I’ve read it
My biggest problem rn is I’m not well versed enough in the huntverse lore to make theories using the lyrics that are in the songs
I’m still new to all of the lore and I’m trying to learn it so I can try to be of help hear because this is what I love to do!
Do we know of any record players in the same room of a building as a auto piano in either maps?
@late tinsel
Because I have a hunch that deals with them I’m gonna go look for a while
I’m honestly not sure.
As for the letters, both Huff and Laveau wrote each other. Laveau’s letter is on the Desk of a Hunter, while Huff’s is in the Louvent Journal.
Over dinner they the twins and the traveler, who was called Lynch talked of a dark future and a darker past. A rift had been torn in the world, and through the rift, a monster had come. It was an entity both one and many. It could possess humans in a way, shaping them to its will, yet the spread of its power mimicked human disease. Most assumed it was an epidemic.
Best summary to the entity and what is going on
And the entity that is referred to here is the sculptor correct?
Just making sure I’m not missing anything
Wait I have a question about the lore.
Is it one entity/demon that's haunting the bayou with multiple manifestations, or are there multiple separate entities?
theres many
Dam I thought there was only one with multiple manifestations based on the info I found on the wiki
@wanton crescent The sculptor is a Loa, I think, but i'm not sure, there are also multiple "loa," which are seen as snakes and can possess, but the sculptor is more powerful in possesion.
the fact that lynch says its both makes me think its just the sculptor
or a hive mind situation
well we can assume she knows more than us based on the fact she actually performs the rituals and presumably has a deeper connection with the loas
guys, someone on the subreddit said that they found somewhere saying the sculpter is influencing more than just Lousiana
id love to know where
I asked but havn't gotten a response i'm too stupid to read my notifications
we know entities affect more than just louisianna*
losuiana
but the sculptor is a specific one
damn i typed virginia
give me a sedc
there it is
he said it was in the doc where it says "did the infection spread beyond Louisiana" and the answer was "incidents have been recorded across the world"
@sinful trout
so what we already know
yep
he just assumed it was the sculptor
yep
correct him please
i did
wrong place sorry
So where sure i talk about this sir?
hunting grounds casual
My native language is not English. It is a bit difficult to read the channel.
thank you sir
you'll get better
Hey guys just an update we have been sent all the journals for the book of weapon
Yup! Thanks to Neus and Rachta for the contributions
So we can publish the completed bad as they seem story soon
@devout cedar ❤

Journal of william salter
Bad as they seem. Unpublished manuscript
Alright lorenians, bow is complete, id like to thank @wintry panther @jagged quarry
@deep crag
@devout cedar and @junior pecan for helping to make this happen. go read it all!
@deep crag Here he is!
confirmed
the plague affecting people is in fact the sculptors power and in no way a disease. only a mimic of such
holy christ lynch killed huff
Not only that but who even is the woman who had the snake in her
Yeah but who is she? is this her first time comnig up?
then steal the weapon from her
Ahhh gotcha
Dude this is huge info though, is the Lord of Death a voudou hing?
Nellie Crown Diagnosis: acute Religious Mania. Badly marked from small pox. Claims an Angel is in her; then it is a snake And who is to say that she is not possessed by Angels or Snakes? I have seen leeches the size of a human head burrow into a man's skull Much more is possible than our medical textbooks would admit. Possibly a previous initiate. Have others reacted poorly to the serum? Observation required
weird. it seems john victor reached for a rift but found none... wonder what it means
So we now know for sure that people can travel between rifts. and It seems lynch was a loa probably?
i doubt she was a loa
but it seems people can "create" rifts for lack of a better term
weather with a blackened heart, or just reaching for one out of thin air
Well then what does it mean by her having more power on the other side and being able to go through the rift. It seems that she leaves her physical body here and goe over spiritually?
in the final entry of bad as they seem doesnt lynch go through with her physical body?
Ah you're right just reread the part
She could not abandon her body as long as she was in this world. In that other place, she could wield so much power, yet here, she was bound and gagged by her own flesh. She unfocused her eyes, searching the Darkness for the closest rift. And when she ran, the twins did not follow. Only later, in order to find the rift Lynch had fled through and close it for good.
I was just wondering about the abandon her body part
no idea
but theres the big answer @forest condor
people can go into their realm
seem to weild more power there as well
Btw is Dr. Philip Huff Jones the same as Huffington
pretty sure
So Huff was just a puppet leader to Lynch then huh?
He seems like a pretty bad dude in Bad as It Seems
How do you mean?
Huffington was a nefarious man, quick to throw morals to the wind for his own advancement, drunk on power and scornful of consequence. Yet his power was bound up in earthly matters - politics and prestige - unlike the woman who stood before him, whose steely gaze and white-blonde hair betrayed an otherworldly quality
And Lynch would often tell him what to say and do, so the question is how long has Lynch been calling the shots or what is going on
Salter went crazy and stole a bunch of Huff's notes so im gonna read those
i posted williams journal
Yeah its weird
And then it gets picked up when the twins come
But I don't get the purpose of these. Im thinking there has to be something behind him losing consciousness and waking up having ate animals and stabbing a dude?
Do we know anything of Salter before he fled Huff? Maybe he came across something that drove him crazy?
all we know is his brother turned him in
my belief
is the sculptor possesed our dear william
@sinful trout Had the same fucking idea, i'm like A.) he:s genuinely mental or B.) He's possesed.
mm
but the weapon that nellie crown currently holds
has the power to end the sculptor
oh wait one sec
I may be stupid
Yeah im stupid
I have been going through the book of weapons and creating a separate doc to organize it all
and realized that the bad as it seems doc is more edited in terms of grammar and stuff
Btw @sinful trout have you looked at all of the correspondence letters in the book of weapons?
To Dr. LeMonnier was attacked by an asylum patient (William Salter, Ward C), during a routine examination and sustained extensive lesions, including multiple abrasions, lacerations (from fingernails of WS), and puncture wounds. WS freed himself from his bonds and attacked Dr. LeMonnier with tooth and nail and, finding a pencil left on a desk, stabbed Dr. LeMonnier in the thigh, arm, and neck. The pencil tip was embedded in the flesh of the neck, but was successfully removed. The saliva evident on the bite wounds was thick in consistency and of yellow hue.
LeMonnier remains in the infirmary for observation, as his wounds have become infected, though it has only been three hours since the incident. He is running a high fever.
Salter went missing in the chaos. The police have been notified, but there has been no sign of him at his former residence. Good riddance
Something is definitely up with Salter
ive read all the things in the hunt lore doc
definately infected
but we now know that the spreading "iinfection" is just a result of the sculptors power
so hes definately posessed by sculpty boyu
but i think its without a doubt
i believe this event
this is the sundering
@sinful trout So, the sundering is a bunch of people becoming more (compatible?), making the more effective and easier to sculpt, giving him moar power?
In reality, the sundering would be terrifying
sundering by definitionis to split apart
i think the aha has more or less split apart
especially with huff gone
I know.
and theres still the waeapon to kill the sculptor
perhaps nellie is working with the same snake fin is
and shell deliver the weapon to her
Yea, but something bads gonna happen, pretty hype considering lore also effects gameplay.
ye
Ok, so she can cross realms? Also, the AMA says people could travel through other than Fin, so what happened?
The AMA is proving very, very helpful.
By the way for anyone interested here is the book of weapons organized alphabetically
Useful, but google docs you can search words, grunt, LeMat, Lebel, etc.
yeah
thats the reason i havent pdfd the lore doc
because the outline is very useful
For those still confused, Lynch ain’t human, just a puppet body for some Lua. That’s why she has no sympathy, and complains in the last chapter about bodily limitations
yes but that doesnt mean shes a loa
Hence, the answer in the qna about traveling to the sculptors dimension, maybe they abandon their physical form for a limited period of time.
But i suck at lore so dont trust me.
What do you think? @sinful trout
personnally?
Yes.
i believe the fact that vodun just being another religion in the game got retconned
but we still dont have confirmation on that
but i believe that since lynch actually knows how to use vodun, that she can have more power in the entities realm, as magic would be overflowing there
i dont believe shes a loa purely due to how she was talking about ogun and chaos and chance in bad as they seem after jos got bit
i think shes just really good at practicing voodoo
and to that extent i believe she is one of the most powerful hunters due to that fact added in that she can hunt very well
but shes no match for fin (who has the favor of a fucking god snake) and jos (who is an extreme marksmen with no regard for death)
thats what i believe
So voudou probably got a MUCH bigger role than initially
yeah
Snake > bird man
i wouldnt be soo sure
That sounds about right, I’ll have to update the summary of the beginners guide....
the bird man came from an effigy that lynch had up her sleeve
Yeah that was like a last straw, the whole triangle part of that was interesting too
Hey @wintry panther what do you think of the first paragraph? Do you think it's important
How they all kind of balance each other out. Plus they’re hunting all competition it looks like?
if she timed it right she could have multiple bird mans
I think that with the reference to the seven gates is key. 7 is a reoccurring part of the twins
Path to the snake god
Plus Dante’s inferno talks about the circles of hell too so there is overlay and reference from both religions
baron semedi being the lord of death they gained the favor of
Is this new?
But yeah I think that’s the god they put the stone into and beat in a throwing knife contest
Or y'all just kept me out >;(
I’d say so, we haven’t doven too deep into the name yet hahaha
r/gatekeeping
I been locked out of my acct
Like is there any other theories built off of what you said, or like new as in just discovered cause I want to see other theories if so.
my theory of lynch and the voodoo?
thats brand new
as i JUSTG read bad as they seem
and theres so much voodoo present its hard to deny
Did I the shit lore pperson do good :)
Its super wholesome. They look past the scars and deformities and trully built a connection after trying to survive together
Hey arpy.
"It's brand new" yeah, straight from the diary of the lore writers
How are you?
you get all your theories righjt
oh
XD
i'm alright hbu?
leave me and my hacks alone
lolk
Pretty good, even after I got called out by you o. Reddit.
I have to admit the writers at Crytek are great at fucked up.... the details in some of the journals is so messed up
oh absolutely
But I'm a bot at lore, but I think that wad key evidence, If you want to keep readi g up I can post the link.
when it described lynch killing hiff
i didnt believe it so i re read it like 5 times
i was like "theres no way im reading this right"
Huff is dead?!?!
lynch slid her blade across his throat in front of nellie in a fuucked up "yeah you like that snake bb?" sort of way
Lmao dude there are multiple references to it and now we know the truth
feelsBadMan
Its insane how she does it too
So, yall want the link or nah?
lel
But he was so wholesome toward Salt...
what?
HE FUCKING ABUSED SALT
read the Journal of William Salter
I neef to wake up
DUDE
Salter is messed up man
Salter straight tortures a woman and crucifies her
And eats her leg
I didn't eben know that.
But tje real "hell" might mean the gates reallly do exist in the huntverse
thats why i think the crawlspace that fin and jos were crawling through is actually the gates of hell
So the it is a mix of a dimension that resembles hell, and hell itself.
okay @sinful trout we DO have everything right?
yes
