So basically. Events have been happening for a while, and will continue to happen. Louisianna event is different though, we dont know if thats because it has more than one target or simply because thsres more than one entities (what we call the demons from the other dimension) at play in this event. The event is in aha (american hunters assosiation) territory, yet other orginizations from around the world are allowed to attend this event. If you kill a target, your goal is simple. Perform the banishing ritual and collect a part of the monster that containes a piece of its soul, the aha will then reward you with that with cards to a true deck ( apparently a set of tarot cards that can tell the future and possibly other things) as well as a lot of money. Hunters dont HAVE to kill eachother. But theres so many reasons to, extra guns, less competition for the bounty, food, medicine, glory etc.

So how it seems to go is anyones allowed to go to an incident. But there are certain organizations that dish out the bounty. See the abdulaziz letter. Because he is not from AHA but still gives them the bounty

Both, probably. Jones seems to be the director of the Louisiana chapter, but it’s suggested the AHA might have benefactors to keep the operations running. We know not even Director Jones is not exempt from the oath they take.
Keep in mind that while the AHA has multiple chapters by various names around the world, they seem rather splintered and are not unified under one true organization.

@robust hedge most of the lore is going to be outside of gameplay mechanics, something you need to read or theorise to figure out. For example, the creation of a butcher was done over many days while a taxidermist made it on accident
And you can't really have that knowledge through gameplay lol

The AHA has existed hundreds of years under various names in many different places and has loosely affiliated chapters all over the USA- including more religious groups.
The AHA cooperates, but is not directly involved in other organizations and their operations.
Organizations like the AHA operate with unknown objectives, but each appear to seek objects of power- be it the True Deck or pieces of a boss soul.
Dark Sight is not exclusively known only to the AHA. The Sinners call it Spirit Eye.
Organizations offer bounties to any hunters as long as the contract is an open Hunt.

Because just imagine it. The monsters may be quite difficult to deal with with primitive weapons, but a guy with decent training and enough ammo would be able to clear out the bayou with an m4 no problem
Let me just compare. The "standard" rifle that the hunters use, fires at most .38-40's with a load capacity of somewhere around 16? At best? That's gotta be a lot slower than say, 30 rounds of 5.56 that can be quickly reloaded and fired a magnitude of time faster. Just compare how many shots it takes to kill a Meathead with a winnie. What is that? Like two whole loads right?
Well just imagine how quickly you could down that sack of meat with say, hollowpoints.
Don't forget about the bosses too. The Butcher might be terrifying, but I doubt he'd stand up well to an AA-12 going whole hog on him. The Spider? Meet my friend, the flamethrower, or out mutuals, dragonsbreath ammo. Same goes for the assassin too, and if that fails, no doubt you could make some good gas grenades out of cans of raid.
