Anyone have a guess how long he has been dead for? Because i find it odd that the sculptor would not have sculpted him given the chance. Even as a corps I would think the sculptor could still use him. But he looks like be has not been touched.

We honestly don't know if Sculptor works on it directly or forces people to do it themselves.
The latter option is because Dear Dr. in the literature at the end of succumbing to his injuries was sawing off his own legs and he was surrounded by corpses and there is a speculation moving around that Dr. is the Spider but that's a speculation.
But an abstract answer without speculations: "Sculptor used people to sculpt the spider so yes it's an immitation of a spider made out of humans"

Like if you made a full complete game with a levelling system of 1-60. And levels 30-40, 40-50 and 50-60 were all DLC. That's bull because it's already there and completed in the original product. Its just locked by a paywall.
If something wasn't ready by launch and they kept working on it after launch then bought it out as DLC then I wouldn't mind as much because it wasn't finished yet and they kept working on it and it needs to be worth that extra effort

They still end up with a profit. So overall it is a win. You don't hear people that are ok with buying DLC crying in forums.

A)Every location has a buggy or a boat waiting for you. My guess is when you talk to the get away driver (someone needs to protect the vehicles from zombies) it is something along the lines of "if i'm not back in an hour leave. I'm probably dead."
That is my take at least.
B) I could also picture it being the virus is in the air and toxic, so if you're in it too long it will kill you, but then running and stuff would make that timer shorter and doesn't explain the need for escape locations.

As for the shortened time I think that is just to stop people from PvE farming, a balance to the game. Or maybe an infestation occurs after it dies since it does tear a whole in the sky. Like a massive toxic aftermath blast, or the swarm bugs fill the location.

Anyone else think the hunters have some dark connection to The Sculptor itself. Their ability to track and banish the bosses, as well as the lore snippets released thus far, make me think that there's some real dark backstory to the hunters themselves. Maybe the hunters were cursed and given a choice to go and kill and banish the bosses to hell, and bring back proof of it, or end up in hell themselves. Or maybe they're murderers who want to atone and the only way they know how is to kill something more evil than themselves. What other reasons would the hunters have for straight up murdering every other hunter on the map, rather than just being like "Hey guys, there's something evil here, let's kill it together."?

We know that they receive โcards of the true deckโ and since they are planned for the next content patch, we might actually find out more about their motivation

The only reason we have theorized is that
True deck is the ultimate reward and it might have to do something with salvation considering hunters in the texts claim to be destined to hell.
But even then gaining salvation by killing your fellow man something is missing there. One theory we had was that those are actually multiple conflicting factions crossing at eachother's throats.
Or the banishment process isn't even banishing as such but rather capturing the being for some probably later use.
