#Armory needs a huge overhaul

Currently the state of the armory is pretty poor
People have been reporting bugs with weapons/items/attachments/perks/etc not showing up despite obtaining them while content from previous versions that isn't legitimately naturally encounterable anymore is still there
And there's still no class based tokening for stuff, which requires either micromanaging them every time you switch class, or choosing stuff useful for any class, to make the most use out of tokens. Give us the S1 token system back where tokens were per-class and there were 3 types of tokens; weight increasing, weight decreasing, and power increasing. I think 2 or so all-class tokens could be kept for stuff that's desired on any class.

Additionally, it's not very useful for learning more about your weapons. All you get to see is the name, faction, technology, extended description, and usage stats.
I think that issue could be resolved by making the expanded view show more information about the weapon, including:

Base stats
Possible variants
Perks - both default and its random perk pool.
Default ammo type and its properties
Additional ammo types obtainable via ammo crates/alt ammo attachment
Attachment slots and their types
Rarity
These listed things should come with links to inspect them and see other things related to them - clicking an ammo type's entry should give a link to its technology and every weapon that comes with it, for instance. Clicking an attachment should give a link to its attachment slot type and weapons that can be upgraded with it. Variants/perks should give links to weapons they can appear on naturally, and factions should link to everything part of them as well as that faction's associated technologies, like lasers/radiation for Soviets, as an example.

Basically I want to be able to see more information in the UI section specifically for learning about weapons and items in a roguelite, and token things on a per-class basis. Many others want this too.

Also, an option to use data to pick a loadout would be nice. Buying modifiers could be another option to sink money in the Armory.

the point of a roguelite is to not get the same build every time

#

besides tokens already exist if you really need to adjust the odds of things appearing

#

buying run modifiers is fine though

some alchemy shop items that were weapon attachments in previous versions (ambrosia printer, bleeder, etc) still show up under the attachments menu instead of items but don't apply to the item versions, so you can just waste tokens
none of those shop items show up at all under any armory menu, which is a shame (even if they don't count as perks, could fill out the perkshop list?)

The armory gives me all the information except the information I need. It's basically as useless as the wiki.
