#How do I refresh my apps that I sideloaded directly onto my device

I just downloaded the latest version of AltStore and it has the ability to sideload apps directly onto your device without installing AltStore first. It’s pretty handy, but my question is how do I refresh it? Does AltStore just refresh it automatically the next time I plug my device in? (I’m not jailbroken btw)
