I currently have an iPhone 6s, and would like to tether downgrade it to ios 9.3, I am not sure on how to back up the activation tickets from 15 and apply them onto 9.3 to avoid the error.
Please help, thanks.

You have to use SSH Ramdisk or SSHRD (newer) to connect to SSH, then get the files using an SFTP client like Cyberduck

For me that didn’t work, for some reason, my 6s can never read/write any file from mnt2 (var folder)

So I had to jailbreak iOS 10 and install Filza

#

And manually airdrop the files

However, when I restored to 9.3.3 I also couldn’t upload the files, so that’s why I’m stuck right now

AFAIK, ios 15 activation tickets won't work for iOS 9. You'd have to extract them from an activated iOS 9 device.

fairly certain you can use ios 15 activation tickets for ios 9
