I'm on ios 14.4 with the unc0ver jailbreak. I was using my iPad in the usual way I do, no new tweaks or anything of the sort installed recently. Every so often my iPad starts acting up and usually I just need to reboot and rejailbreak. I rebooted it and it got stuck on a black screen with a backlight on. This has happened before and I've always solved it by quickly pressing the volume up button, releasing, quickly pressing the volume down button, releasing, then holding the top button until it resets properly. This time, however, that doesn't seem to be working — I've tried several times. Does anyone have any advice?

The backlight of the screen is still on so I suppose I could wait until the battery dies but that would take a while

If the backlight isn't turning on then you're not hard resetting it properly
reboot
This will force reboot the device. For normal rebooting instructions, see the normalreboot tag.

Make sure you're only tapping the volume buttons and not holding them down for a while
