I set up my moms iphone with a passcode, i know what it is. mom tried to put in the passcode today and now it wont unlock. i tried entering it too, but same issue. can i somehow reset the passcode without losing data? also i changed the screen recently, but it shouldn't affect the passcode, should it?

well my mom lets my brother use the phone but he INSISTS he didnt change it
so i guess he changed it

passcode doesn't change on its own. passcodes are completely unrelated to screen replacement someone changed it manually

could ios have prompted my mom to change the passcode randomly or does that not happen
reason being that it isnt safe or something

i.. don't think that's a thing. it'll tell you when you first set the passcode iirc but it doesn't just randomly say "hi btw ur passcode sucks"
