So, I was playing around with the Shortcuts app on my iPad and used it to set 1000 alarms for 12 PM. They went off and I had to hard crash the iPad to make it usable again. I was sure I made them one time only, but come this morning, they all went off again. The problem is that due to the sheer amount of them, none of the alarms appear in the clock app. Does anyone have any idea how I could fix this mess? (I'm running the iOS 17 Beta on an iPad 8th Gen)
#How can I fix this? (Not related to jailbreaking at all)

Reset.
Any other ideas? I'd really prefernot to have to factory reset.
There isn’t much you can do. Maybe a tweak exists if you jailbreak but there aren’t any jailbreaks available for your iOS version. It’s the only way unfortunately.
I tried using a shortcut to delete them to no avail.
What does it show in the alarms app?
Does anything happen if you set an alarm in the alarms app for 12:00pm
It does absolutely nothing.
Oh,
It creates, but never shows up.
Have you tried asking Siri to cancel all alarms?
Yeah.
I had to in order to get it usable after all the alarms went off.
When they go off, the entire device freezes up and becomes unusable.
Right.
Unfortunately all you can do is reset. You can perform a backup on your computer via iTunes. And restore it afte.
No problem.
Is it possible to modify the backup to erase all the alarms, and then restore that?
Or would they not be backed up in the first place?
fuck around and find out
