You don't need to set the custom beta stuff as the 2016 SE doesn't have iOS 16. Just carry on with --latest-baseband and --latest-sep and it'll work just fine.

If you're getting the FDR message, try another blob or go to 14.3.

you only need to do the pwned dfu once

I think you can just use the gui the whole way

#

no need to use cli

#

can you send the blob files here?

#

idk why but Linux never works for me but windows 10 should, windows 7 isn’t really good for modern iOS things

#

Macos is the best definitely

#

the restore wouldn't be done at all if the blobs were invalid

placid burrow
#

you have Windows 7, right?

#

10 might work better if you have tried it I’m assuming you have though

#

there is a fix for that

#

oh okay

#

did you also tick delete the driver file?

minor holly
#

did you try restoring with --no-rsep

placid burrow
#

shouldn’t make much of a difference

#

I’d assume so

minor holly
#

yes, the gui is just a wrapper for the tool

placid burrow
#

idk why Linux doesn’t work fr has never worked for me

minor holly
#

can also be shortened to -t /path/to/blob -2 -0 -j /path/to/ipsw

placid burrow
#

or for windows \path\to\ipsw

#

and same with blob

minor holly
#

uhh, it should be flashing baseband
use the less shortened one and see what it says

placid burrow
#

IIRC sep should be fine
