I noticed that my battery drains very quickly when i wasn't using my phone, and it's only half a year old. Battery usage by app shows that the Mail app used 93% of my battery with 1m on screen. This doesn't make any sense, any solutions to this problem?

Try giving your iPhone a restart. Also what is your battery health on. Go to settings>Battery>Battery Health

you might have to restore using itunes, you can also restore the backup (if you take one before restoring)
if it doesnt work then it's probably some issue with synchronization or some shit
