If you start the process as usual in checkra1n, it'll place it in dfu automatically

It starts with recovery, then once in recovery, dscd will kick in DFU

My ATV4 was rebooted. Unc0ver 5.1.0 b2 was still signed from reprovision so I ran it and got this error about extracting an archive.
Un0ver doesn't open again after this happens until the ATV is rebooted.

I updated unc0ver to 5.3.0 with xcode but still get the same error.

I've restarted the ATV a few times but it didn't help.

Since checkra1n for tvOS 14 is released, the bootstrap hasn't been updated to work.

What this means is, despite the exploits working, you won't be able to install nitoTV and the repos/tweaks properly.

Until this gets fixed, I highly recommend anyone with an Apple TV 4/4K to stay on 13 until things get fixed. Thank you!

@high bear I had connectivity loss on Chimera 12.4 and ran LDRestart to try to fix it. Sometimes that worked but sometimes I played an Apple movie trailer to get connectivity back otherwise reboot and rejailbreak was the only solution. I'm on 13.5 now and for me this problem is 95% gone. Weird you have the opposite.

It's been running great since, but was factory reset recently
I jailbroke again & all my jb apps are still there, but now nitotv can't install anything

but you should still just jailbreak and it'll re-install everything

if u0 gives you errors, just keep retrying it (re-jailbreaking) and if the app doesn't launch, reboot manually, then re-jailbreak again

for unc0ver, head into the app and select "Restore RootFS" in settings, then go back to the main screen and click "Restore RootFS"

That'll unjailbreak it, after, head into Apple TVs settings and use Reset

as for your Kodi info, it should be in /private/var/Containers/Data/

@analog elk yea I was able to resign Kodi for another 365 days AFTER my developer account lapsed. Not sure how or why but I haven't had a paid account in months and it still works.

@analog elk depends on the tvOS version, but you can sideload the JB with Xcode wirelessly and then just run it on the Apple TV
