Hi, I have iPhone 6 on 12.4.7. I have SHSH2 blobs.
I was advised to come to this channel when I was ready to downgrade to 12.4.
I'm on a Windows machine and I have CydiaImpactor, my SHSH2 blobs zip from TSSSaver website and the 12.4 ipsw. I think I need to JB first with checkra1n but I'm on Windows. Once I'm downgraded I've been advised to JB with chimera which I'm sure I'll be able to do just fine.
Any tips for this criteria?
Should I start in the #nathanlr channel then come back once I'm ready for futurerestore, or is there a simple method for checkra1n on Windows that can be included in advice on this channel?

@valid river downgrading your device is certainly possible; granted the SEP is compatible as low as 12.4...

What should be done is of course jailbroken via checkra1n and having the nonce set. Make sure to disable auto-boot to prevent the device from booting back in the OS and resetting the nonce (backing up your device would also be ideal)

Once that's set, you can use futurerestore to use the latest SEP and baseband with --latest-sep and --latest-baseband. After those flags are typed out, drag your 12.4 ipsw in and reboot the phone, then press Enter to start futurerestore

I would want to perform a futurestore on my iphone 7, but I am on ios 11.2.1 and latest blobs I have are 13.2.2 and 13.2.3, I have tried to find info about upgrading, from what I gather it's the same and also the version you are coming from is of no importance. Now if I got that right, I wonder what is the deal with SEP compatibility, in my case I would need to have 13.5.1 sep compatible with the version I am restoring to?
