The Discord link is legit but I would not join it. This spam bot has been all over several other Discords I volunteer at and we finally got rid of it. It creates hundreds and hundreds of accounts and then each one starts spamming DM's.

No, there is free support available from staff and Volunteers. There is a channel exclusive for those that do choose to pay for the Prime subscription but a paid subscription is definitely not required in order to get support.

Also fyi in case someone asks in the future, we're aware of a bug where CBR is no longer constant after outputting 512MB, might not be an issue on our side

All monitors are dynamic. They can be turned off. Measurement can be taken while on vs off, in any lighting conditions, to achieve any ratio they want, which is what makes 100% of on-box readings useless. Need to know the specifics of how the test was administered, which tftcentral and rtings provide.

It's not false advertising if they test and really get that result, but the test is meaningless because they control all the parameters of the test. This is pretty normal and why independant review that document their process and methodology are so important.

Historically, it used to be two groups of four hours. This was changed when industrilization was happening and people wanted to abuse other people more. It used to be 4 sleep, 2 wake, 4 sleep, then long wake, and people were like "Imagine if you didn't have that 2 wake in the middle, that's 2 more hours to work!". The term is "biphasic sleep" or "second sleep".

With biphasic for-real-real, I'm spending a total of 9-10 "asleep" and actually crazy-active and productive the other 14-15.

That isn’t even really true. Burn in has barely been a problem since the first year of consumer OLEDs. A lot of people confuse image retention (temporary) with burn in(permanent)

That being said, I have a Sony A1E and have never even noticed retention. They do stuff like pixel shifting on still images and such to avoid it. I’m sure LG does something as well.

my understanding about current gen TVs is that at the "base" model, sony processing is a bit better and there seems to be less evidence of burn in when the TV is used properly. once you move up to the higher series this becomes a bit less true (like the LG G1) this becomes a little less true and they are close to the same.

That just shows a summary of some of the specs
It won't give the processing differences.. C2 model has better shadow detail OOTB (which can be easily mostly calibrated out with signal values), luminance overshoot mostly fixed (which I don't notice anyway) and less banding
But not sure these things are worth TWICE the price almost.. bigger sizes makes sense cause the price difference is a lot less..

The brightness boost you only get on 55" and above which I guess you're thinking of getting so good there

I promise you, its not 😅 it dosent matter if its h264, hevc or av1. It can look perfect in the recording, but they will receive the same treatment.
They will be decoded, and re-encoded on yt using h264 or vp9 (av1 if you're a huge channel)

I'm sure the other one will have plenty of faults as well. You can upload lossless, it will not matter past a certain point. Youtube re-encodes everything, and they have a pretty aggressive limit on data.
