I'm sure you were all on the edges of your seats for this so, apologies in the delay, but I did upgrade to win11 (because the move to Linux is still barred to me, unfortunately) and for the most part it was pretty painless. Maybe the easeist Windows version upgrade I've ever done. It actually ported virtually all of my preferences and settings over from 10 without a fuss, and the issues I ran into were two devices needing firmware upgrades and some rogue driver file that Armory Crate had left behind after I surgically extracted it years ago.

All in all, not the nightmare a lot of folks seemed to be afraid of.

Depends on how heavily you value privacy. I personally use Firefox and love it. I don't know how closely LibreWolf follows upstream Firefox; at best, LibreWolf gets features and improvements more slowly than Firefox does, at worst it's diverged far enough that some things don't make it at all. Firefox is private enough for my tastes, and is loads better than Chrome. I know there was some scandal a bit ago related to a Terms of Use update, but as I understand it those were walked back.

Librewolf is quite a bit better than Firefox in terms of anti fingerprinting out of the box but that comes at the cost of some stuff breaking occasionally / being incovenient

Oh, trust me I know. I've got a computer engineering degree, which means I did just enough electrical engineering to know it's wizardry.

I've dumped most of the analog stuff from my brain since then. As long as the voltages are either ground or above the gate threshold, it's digital, and that's all I care about.

It inserts subtitles into line 21, they come in a simple format. 1 byte per field, 2 fields make for two bytes per frame

The protocol can draw simple text in various ways, supports colors and a degree of font decorating

There are no pixels in analog video, only lines

Each line is a continuous signal, but there is a formal definition for number of columns (more of a HD era thing)

It's a bot account. Discord doesn't give servers the tools to police DMs. Besides, that account has never posted in here either..

But you have the DMs open, you are the susceptible one. With the little tools Discord gives people for privacy, it's best to report the account so Discord can deal with the account. If you don't want random DMs from other members, you can turn it off in Privacy settings.

Ultimately what this boils down to is that we can't validate the report. We're a public server, and we regularly get false reports of people who are just trying to get someone banned.

We take the reports though, so reporting it is just fine.
