Okay so a lot of people use the square maps to make custom islands, but this is kind of hindered by the fact that there’s a huge mountain range just a few meters away. So my solution would be to allow players to toggle map backgrounds on or off in the game settings menu, making custom islands feel more like islands. Ik someone has probably already suggested this so big apologies if it seems like I stole this!
