Hello devs,
First, thanks for bringing Titan Quest back! As a longtime TQ1 player, I’m excited about TQ2 but have some constructive feedback:
-
The mythological atmosphere feels lost. Compared to TQ1’s bright style, the world feels darker and Diablo-inspired. The minimap, UI, and vendors lack that unique mythological identity. Maybe add an option to switch between classic and modern visual/UI themes?
-
Weapon and spell hotbar switching are linked now, limiting build flexibility. In TQ1, spells and weapons could be switched independently. Please add the ability to switch spells or weapons separately.
-
Build presets would improve gameplay flow. Some abilities work better against bosses (like Homing Spellshards), others better for AoE (Torment with Penetration). Constantly reslotting skills feels clunky. A quick-swap preset system, like "Boss" and "AoE" modes, would help players adapt.
-
Undead enemies shouldn’t take bleed or poison damage. This breaks immersion and isn’t consistent with classic RPG logic, where undead are immune or resistant.
-
Teleportation sometimes bugs out, causing players to get stuck or be teleported inside terrain.
-
Random crashes occur when loading characters or entering new areas.
-
Left-click movement is frustrating. Though there’s an option for separate attack/move, it’s clunky, and accidental attacks happen when hovering over objects. TQ1 handled this better and deserves a rework.
-
Camera zoom feels limited. The new 3D camera is good but often too close. More zoom-out freedom would improve exploration and combat clarity.
-
The relic/charm system was unique and would be great to see back.
-
It feels strange to see drops like a frog, shield, or sword randomly, while in TQ1 it was clearer when monsters had epic loot. That clarity helped immersion and anticipation.
Thanks again for your hard work! I’m enjoying the core gameplay and look forward to improvements as Early Access continues.
