#HCSSF mode in TQ2 should be renamed to HCSSF No Shared Stash.

go prove that your version of SSF is the absolute first time the term was used. The term is used for a variety of different restrictions some of which can imply the requirement that the item drops for the character that is playing. There have been some games that further delineate between similar restriction styles with different acronyms however that doesn't mean that such a narrow definition is required or correct
Last Epoch offers it (one could argue that they use a slightly different terminology, however there is no other restriction-mode so in the end it is the same)
the official restriction based mode on Last Epoch limits you to no shared stash
what you are thinking of is just the normal HC mode
there is no mode which enforces HCSSF shared stash in Last Epoch, there is only the character opt-in Circle of Fortune faction which then denies access to the player trading however characters in that environment still share the ability to party with other players
I belive Last Epoch uses the term Solo-Character-Found to distinguish its workings from other arpgs, however since there is no actual SSF mode they can be considered somewhat equivalent in purpose
the idea being that a challenge mode where the player has to solo the game should not allow for twinking
Pretty sure that it is generally understood that HCSSF means you can trade with your other characters on your own account.
At least in the games i have played other than Titan quest.
