Bring back monster races/classification & associated stats :
• +X% [damage type] damage to [race]
• -X% [damage type] damage taken from [race]
• and so on ...

Main :
Beastmen, Beasts, Humans, Demons, Undeads, Deities, Arthropods, Magicals, Plants, Fungi, Constructs

Secondary :
Giants, Ghosts

Maybe also with sub class like for Arthropods - Insects, Arachnids, Crustaceans

Though I know (biologically speaking) we may need really specific classes like for ||leeches||

While that was cool, its probably like faction specific loot pools and makes more sense to add later on.
It could especially be important for characters (like a spirit mastery with vitality or others with bleed focus etc.) that focus on damage types some races are especially resistant against.

Hunting could definitly have bonus damage against Beasts as a passive

#

Rogue could have bonus damage against Humans also

#

Spirit could have damage resistance against Undeads (like TQ1)

And unique items could have also such stats when it makes actual sense
