I can suggest a idea if you want to reduce triangle for the cage.

Ideally you can simply make a outline of the mesh with a cube like normal, extrude it around the lamp to follow the sides BUT rather than solidifying, you can delete the faces on the side to leave out a flat 2D surface if that make sense, if not then if i have time i can recreate it in blender

but esentially its like the only way i can think that can reduce the triangle especially for the cage

esentially you can make a cube and bevel the edges to fit with the roundness of the lamp like this n call it a day

if you want it to look rounded from far away though uhh, you can shade it smooth and add loops cuts in the middle to control the shading

or if that something u dont care and want the most least triangle, you can remove the faces that goes into the lamp, leaving the outer faces like i mentioned above

those are just uhhh the ideas i have that could help you reduce alot of triangles for the lamp cage
