you have to add 2 Attachments and 1 Beam in a Part
you need to setup the Beam's attachment0 and attachment1, being the top (or source) attachment for the beam and the bottom (floor or surface) for the beam respectively
then just move the attachments wherever you want the beam to start and end, and you should be done

What i would recommend is to turn off the denoiser and turn up the samples, then i would add some depth of field making the point of the depth of field as the door, and maybe reduce the light in the foreground
