It's good to see where you should and shouldn't use high poly counts
Like little details should be as low poly as possible without losing their visual quality, but really big things should be high poly so they retain enough quality to look believable
Like if you scale up a cylinder with 12 sides to like 64 studs, it's going to be incredibly ugly
But for stuff like ladders you could use ones with as little sides as 4 or 6
This is from my close friend lol
I learned cool trick though
If i want to mske extreme low polygame while msintain smoothness sfor example a pole
What impresses me most is that they managed to get it to exactly 20,000
I can use 6 uh stuff like
What shape they called again hang on
I can use hexagon as a pole
And shade smooth it out
So when its in game it looks like it is actually a sphere but in fact it just a hexagonish pole
It's great at masking poly counts
I also always debate with my dev team keep a fucking game at low poly if dont want performance impact including certain server impacts in some cases
Including support phone and tablet
They will never listen to me
But say its too cringe
poly count impacts the client more than it does to the server iirc (cause games totally like to render bajillions of tris 😍 )

give them a texture using software like armor paint or substance painter
cause it saves you a lot of tris
how else did you think games would have such amounts of detail and keep a relatively low poly count for their detail

that might be the missing ingredient
one thing i will say
the floor looks kinda bland
i feel like some small pipes could work
either with small windows in the indent sections, or on the corner of the ceiling
another thing to add detail would be an electric box

So I managed to replicate the field generation from Bee Swarm Simulator in a very basic form.
It uses Perlin Noise, which I used for the first time. I somehow managed to implement it
And it works... why
I also added the "feature" that I can resize the BasePart and the field changes its size one regenerated. Despite this, it lacks the different types of pollen.
Kinda proud that I managed to get it to work since I haven't used Studio in over two years.

In addition to that, I got the token generation working as well as the pollen collection.
The field regeneration was a real pain
I ended up splitting the regeneration for each of the three flower colours and letting them regenerate at the same time using task.spawn.
It ended up fixing the lag and it runs smoothly now

through the chat we have alrdy declared the answer by looking at scene statistics in blender and comparing both versions, blender ofc has less tris even if it looks like roblox has less of them
do keep in mind memory usage and the fact meshes have to be loaded from CDNs whereas native parts are built into the engine so load quicker
performance is a multifaceted discpline and will never have a one size fits approach
do what is easiest for you and works best for your situation

roblox ones aren't duplicated if they are native parts
they only duplicate vertices due to how their CSG / union system operates under the hood

like I said, depends on usecase however if your models are becoming more detailed & more intricate, I would recommend modeling it entirely in blender
I know it may seem daunting but start with smaller projects
remaking easy assets, teaching yourself the tools

youll wanna change the vertices count to something less than 32
dont go above 32 for all that is holy
ive found tha 16 is around about all you need for regular size cylinders in roblox
8 for really small details
and also do this before exporting to roblox
makes it nice and smooth
