We have build a beautiful world, full of life and cities.

Now that we think our world is on the end of the building phase, we would love to spread it in the Steam Workshop but this is a very difficult process.

Some tutorials are here to help but there are nothing to explain the littles details that make the difference.

If you could help us for this point, it would be lovely :

  • How to ensure that the player who would download the map will be the owner of the Colony ?
  • How to know where he will spawn ?

We have tried to upload the map on the Workshop and to download it but I was exactly at the same spot of where I leave the map, so we cant really test how its gonna be for a new player.

All of this while conservate the ability to get the success

Load the world in singleplayer (not co-op) mode before uploading it, and that will ensure that new players loading it will start at the place where you left off

#

They will take over your role as-is, including spawn position and colony ownership

#

However if they load the workshop world in multiplayer, only the first player (the co-op host) will start this way.
Further players joining it will spawn at the standard location as a new player
