In my experience I did sleepovers a lot when I was a little kid, not at all as a teen, and then a lot again as an adult (visiting a friend’s place at university, visiting a friend who lives in a different city, etc). I imagine an adult with a stable job might afford a hotel instead of sleeping on a friend’s couch when visiting, but for now I sleep over whenever I go visit friends

I don’t remember about a friend specifically - it was at LEAST when I was twelve, maybe fourteen at the oldest, but a few years ago I stayed at my cousin’s house and we went on a trip to Wisconsin the next day, if that counts
