Made the decision to graduate with a BSc instead of finishing the year and getting an MSci (my mental health couldn’t take the stress anymore). So it wasn’t the way I expected but I technically finished my university degree this year! (The graduation ceremony will be next year though)

Also if I may go for a sillier one as well, because it’s definitely up there as a favourite memory this year. I met Grian at an event in London and he was super nice!! He signed the Hermitcraft TCG cards I brought and took the ones I wanted to get signed by the others there (who I was too late to meet) and got them signed for me. He then sent them through the mail to me, and he even included 3 more versions of his own cards that he signed for me too. Him going out of his way to do something nice for me is definitely the coolest ‘celebrity’ interaction I’ve had so far

I backpacked across Isle Royale, got a new job, and have gotten more into crafting again

started doing art a lot more and realized it was something i actually really enjoy 🙂 this includes learning photoshop (not great at it but still pretty decent I think)

I’m not gonna lie, compared to all of these, it doesn’t feel like I accomplished anything 😅 it’s been the hardest year of my life so far. But as for a favorite memory? I got my first tattoo! I’m finally talking to my mom about so much of the hurt I have from growing up. I’m working towards getting my G.E.D., not sure I have much else, but there’s that!

this year i finally took the initiative to actually start streaming to help me come out of my shell and let the parts of me that the people usually dont see and just truly be authentically me. While balancing streaming, a part time job and my two busiest semester by far i managed to achieve the highest semester gpas that i've ever had in college. I went to my very first concert (xdinary heroes) and had literally sooooooooo much fun, an amount of fun i haven't experienced in really long time. Also learning to live in the present instead of just living in the past or trying to prepare/being anxious for the future.

This year I did a few things that I've been celebrating.
I got a bit more flexible, which has always been a struggle for me. I'm bad at consistently stretching but I've at least halfway gotten better at it.
I got a boyfriend and we both have been happier for it. We've been friends for years and basically dated for like a year before we actually started dating, neither of us realized till we talked about all the signs that we missed.
And the last thing is that I've gotten better at standing up for myself. I've been a bit of a pushover my whole life and a major people pleaser but I've gotten better this year about not

I did a lot this year but only within the last few months lmao. I had a rough surgery that I had been putting off for over a year (it was my first real surgery and it was one I never thought i’d go through with). I worked on getting my body to a healthier place (both in gaining much needed weight and endurance). I flew for the first time by myself when I went to nyc to meet up with jubie. I met THE jack wolfe. I drank in public for the first time and went to the bar for the first time. I paid for my entire trip to nyc by myself and I stuck to the budget I had set myself. I reunited with friends I hadn’t seen/talked to in 7+ years. I also took back up some personal self care that I hadn’t done in years/ever bc I had been too sick to do so. this year has been really good and I think next year will be even better 🥹

So much positive happened that is outwaying the negative. Finished an Accounting Certificare after chugging away 1 class at a time for 3 years. Spent the last half of the year seeing docs and getting tests done so I can FINALLY have my horrible periods gone. Next year is looking good with finding a job and having surgery.

Common sense would be to say I went back to school and got my medical assisting certificate and got a job a month later. But idk I don’t think I wanted to be doing any of this. But I did put my foot down for my health and got some answers after years of suffering.
