#New PC Crashing

And I can hear everything going on, just my display is frozen. So that’s why I think it’s GPU issue.
I’m currently running a plateau at 2700MHz at .910V
I’ve also tried dropping power limit of my GPU to down to 50%
And still crashes
Also I’m just noticing that my GPU memory clock speed is always locked at 10502MHz
So it’s something to do with multi display setting
If you drop your refresh rate down on one monitor, it fixes the issue…. Not sure for an actual fix
Just to check, try dropping your riser speed down to PCIe 3.0
I will try it and update you later
It could be PSU. Make sure to UPDATE graphics card and also run benchmarks and do a test. See if it crashes then
Alright so I was able to get the system to run stable. I had to lower memory clock -200MHz. Then I ran benchmark with same settings at 85% power limit for both PCIEx16 on gen 3 and gen 4. Virtually the same results for both…
Gen 4
Gen 3
One thing I noticed is that at lower power limits like 70%, my GPU would max out at around what 70% would be and now at 85% I’m not getting near where I ‘should be’. At 85% I’m maxing at around 315W when it should be around 380W, right??
Also anytime I attempt to change the memory clock speed, it freezes.
So I’m not really sure what to do now…
Are these scores to be expected or underperforming??
Well, you're running Unigine heaven.
it's not exactly the most power intensive application.
If you wanna slam your power consumption into the wall, use furmark
Okay I’ll try it and show results later.
Update of the bios seemed to fix all my issues, I believe it was a RAM issue actually. It just threw me for a loop bc it would mainly crash anytime I touched the GPU memory clock slider in Afterburner or really anytime I touched the GPU at all. Also I haven't had much time to actually get hands on with it until now so most of my time was spent just googling shit lol
