It did not actually, this rest has a fabric top on it similar to the firefly cloth and the huntsman has the leathery top stuff.
Both are nice, but if your hands or wrists sweat a lot it could probably cause some issues with the huntsman.

Hi there. I just got the Razer Huntsman TE but it seems that the those new switches are very sensitive. I keep hitting the shift and space buttons by mistake but I really dont wanna change keyboards. Do you think O-Rings would help in this case?

I recommend tai Hao as they have quality caps at an affordable price. Hyper x pudding keycaps . But know a vast majority of keycap sets don’t come with the Razer bottom row as it’s nonstandard

I have a set of taihao keycaps they are good for the price. Just know the bottom row isn’t standard so you’ll need to buy some single keycaps to fit those non standard row. As much as it sucks that’s why Im pushing the Razer sets. I know the colors are kinda meh but it’s honestly your best bet. Plus let’s say you want to mix green pink white and black. Through tasers website you can get a custom set with those colors

If I set the keyboard to only one colour, it will be the wrong colour always. If I set it to switching between colours, it will switch, but only between a small number of colours and not matching the rest of the keys. It's not just stuck on one colour.

Combination of different drivers and setups makes it sound different for everyone. I'd say you try updating all the drivers and if that doesnt work then just go for what sounds better. Its all up to personal preference.

@lilac tree doesnt matter a cable is a cable, just make sure that if it needs usb 3 to use that type of cable, other wise your good, but also if youre trying to use a longer cable there could be extra voltage drop and sometimes the tolerances on some devices are very low, just a heads up if you start having any issues

using a crappy quality cable could cause issues also, esspecially since your using it to interface with a mic

Hello everyone, I recently bought the Viper Ultimate, It took me about two weeks to get use to the shape. My previous mouse was a Corsair harpoon wireless(it's now my travel mouse) and it felt really good with my claw/fingertip grip, which is probably why the viper took so long to get use to. I love having a dock to change it though.

Well I'm still in the return window for the viper, and I'm wondering if I would be better suited with the Wireless Deathadder?

@hasty flicker Viper Ultimate shape is optimized for pure fingertip grip. It barely has a hump in the back. You can claw the Deathadder most definitely, its' shape is really ergonomic. But also consider the Basilisk Ultimate

@glossy parrot my only issue I want to say at $250 Logitech is hotswapable with other romer g switches. Where as the Razer one isn’t hot swap. It would be cool if you can buy it with greens. Then switch it later on to yellows or orange.

@tiny ember I personally love my huntsman, sure its a little loud, but tbh I dont notice it much, and i love the feel of it, the opto switches are wonderful and super fast, but im not sure that I would want to get the reds, the purple is already super fast. and there used to be a weird glitch where the would "get stuck" and just repeat, but they updated it and now it seems fine

I just took the deathadder wireless out of the box and so far it feels way more comfortable to claw than the Viper ultimate

I use claw and sometimes fingertip the viper has felt kind of uncomfortable and been too flat I think I haven't played with this Deathadder yet but so far just holding it using a claw it feels really comfortable

@rocky adder faster switches are not always everything. Huntsman minis are also lighter and have god awful stabs

and the ducky one 2 mini has wayy more vairety in switchse

if you prefer the huntsman mini then thats fine but in my opinion, the ducky one 2 mini is better in almost every way

investing in something like the hyperx alloy core origins or the anne pro 2 or a royal kludge keyboard is also not a bad investment seeing as they cost lest and are pretty good quality

and if you want something thatll last you forever then get a leopold board if they get in stock.

in my humble opinion, the huntsman mini is only something you should get if you want to keep brand consistency or you really like the 60 percent layout and the opto mechanical switches. Otherwise, there are other options out there.

So I played with the DeathAdder v2 pro last night. Overall I like it more then the viper ultimate. However, my one complaint is the new V2 optical switches are supposed to feel more tactile then the last gen, and compared to the viper they definitely feel less tactile
